So far, my experience with Defy has sucked. I have been hung up on by staff, voicemails and messages are not returned, and the staff treats patients as if they are worthless humans whose only purpose is to ruin the staffs day. I am being treated by Dr. Culkin. I have spoken to him twice, and both times, he seemed as if he was busy doing something else. None of his notes are on my patient portal so I can look up instructions he has given me, and whenever I try to clarify instructions he has given me, he responds with “sounds good, try that.” Now I know why they are in Florida, definitely seem like more of a “Florida pill mill” and less of a reputable medical provider. Also, for some reason, they have given medical assistants (not physician assistants) access to my medical records and these folks can then give you guidance when you have questions, rather than that info coming from trained medical personal. Gonna try them one more time, prob with a new provider, but no doubt it’ll be 2 months at the earliest before I can get an appointment. Oh, and near as I can tell, it’s $250 per appointment with whatever provider you are assigned, so make sure you’re ready to go, cause they only get 20 minutes to talk to you. You’re most likely better off someplace else.

Melissa helped me out a lot with pointing me in the direction of “Synvisc-1” to speak to my orthopedic doctor about as a potential treatment for my knees. This was in addition to the standard excellent TRT service as always.

Screw my drs experience. We spoke thursday afternoon and I have not heard from anyone and there is nothing in my acct cart. I certainly cannot recommend at this time.

TRT offered thru Defy has drastically improved the quality of this old man's life. I feel half my age. Those chores that used to take 3 times as long to accomplish before TRT now take a few short hours. The constant aches and pains are now tolerable and do not keep me down for the majority of time. I can get thru my work day and have plenty of gas left in the tank to mow, wash the truck, cook dinner, all before I even feel ready for bed. My libido has gone from non-existent to that of my former young self. Couldn't be happier with TRT.
