Like other reviewers, I find CVS to be slow and they do not care about helping customers at all. I bought a few items at "50% off", but when he rang me up (after waiting in line for what seemed like forever), none of it was half off. The signs have "buy one get one" in teeny tiny print with 50% OFF in larger letters, so of course that's why I picked that brand. But no, it's not 50% off. There's no urgency or efficiency, so there's ALWAYS a line and it always moves at snails' pace. If you complain, management pretends to care, but it feels so very false. I'm just so happy there are better options for prescriptions these days, because I will NOT be going there again!

Upon seeing my Dr and being diagnosed with a serious and exceedingly painful case of scalp cellulitis, the Dr prescribed me 3 days of pain meds to help me deal with debilitating headaches and no sleep...as I was out of my normal pain meds which were 2-3 days away due to shipping. This absolute incompetent pharmacy manager denied the 3 days of minor pain meds and implied I was drug seeking. I asked her to please call my Dr (who had just called these in) and/or my pain management Dr who could explain to her very very tiny brain what a bridge script is. In the most unprofessional, discourteous, accusatory, and belligerent tone and message she simply refused to do her job (ie: contact my Drs to validate 3 days of pain meds during a very serious illness). She spoke of "flags" but showed excessive indifference. It is a classic case of a pharmacist who thinks they are Dr's or that they can even approach the achievement of and M.D. of internal medicine. Canton, Ohio CVS reasonable and polite support and tech. Incredibly incompetent pharmacy management.

placed an online order for 1 item at 10pm that I needed before our vacation the following morning. 45 minutes later it still said processing so I had my husband go in and find the item & take it 2 the front to have the order filled. it was 1051pm and they said they couldn't process the pick up order because they were about to close. they left him there to pay at self checkout while they went about throwing out the garbage & setting up to close. I called the next day tp speak to a manager about canceling the order since we purchased it already. I spoke with a Juliana who said she was there when my her husband came in and that they could not process the order.Because they were about to close.I asked her how that's possible. If they are supposed to be open till 11 p m they're supposed to be able to handle and take care of customers up until 11 p m.She was like, well do you want me just to cancel it?And I said, of course, because I really purchased it.So she says, okay, and then I asked her, well, what about my coupons & my extra care bucks I used im going to lose them. She said okay and? i swear I was in total shock. I'm like, what do you mean ok and? She replied what do you want me to do about it?And I was like, listen I don't know who u are but im taking this up to corporate. how are u telling me u failed to assist a customer during working hours & when I asked about my rewards and coupons your response is ok so what do u want me to do about it? and honestly its not the words but the exasperated tone she used as if I was a child she was annoyed by. She definitely shouldn't be in any position where she has to speak with customers! Julianna do better or better yet CVS at 82 West Main St in Smithtown GET JULIANNA SOME SERIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING.

I'm not quite sure where to even begin this one. I guess after finding and reading this General CVS Pharmacy review page, none of them are very pleasant. This is specifically in regards to the CVS Pharmacy in Oneonta Alabama. This was the second time I unfortunately had to go in there regarding a prescription. They're one of the few places that are open on Saturday and Sunday. One of the not so great things about living in a small town. The first time I went to the CVS I was approached by the same young lady that approached me this time. The same unfriendly, I'm doing you a favor by even listening to you attitude she had the first time. I expressed to her that I am here to pick up a prescription that was sent as urgent for a BLOOD PRESSURE prescription that was issued because I had left my purse at a restaurant a couple days prior. Let's start with the fact that I was questioned like I had just requested a bottle of Xanax mixed with opiate pain relieving pills! At this point she turns and mockingly restates what I had just told her to another employee that was just about as into customer service as she was... That was an extremely rude and very unacceptable thing to do! At this point I am told that they would fill it tomorrow morning (this is also a half hour drive for me) I tell them it was called in as an urgent refill need - and they basically didn't give a poop. Supposedly they don't do urgent refill requests and they had been behind since yesterday. . . I believe that a business should hire individuals that are able to keep up with the job they're hired to do. I am sorry you guys got behind but that sounds like a you problem girls, not a me problem. Not only that, but after the way I was initially treated, I just didn't have it in me to feel bad that you got behind in your work. I asked them to transfer it to different pharmacy at that point and of course they couldn't! I had to go there and ask the other Pharmacy to do it. I don't know what went down at this point, but my prescription ended up being sent back to the doctor and I ended up waiting till Monday and that was very uncomfortable. Not only is it unhealthy for your blood pressure to rise when it's usually controlled it makes your face hot and your body uncomfortable and gives you a heck of a headache. I don't know what HIPAA regulations state in regards to pharmaceuticals but as the new week progresses, I am definitely going to be finding out. This was absolutely ridiculous, and to be bluntly honest - this employee is going to lose you customers. The first time I dealt with this girl was unpleasant, this time it was unacceptable.

If I could, I would enter MINUS ONE (-). Your service has gone so far down the toilet it appears to no longer exist. I've have been trying for more than 2 weeks to get through to the pharmacy. That automatic system you're using to answer calls is absolutely WORTHLESS! Your on-line system is just as bad. Neither of these systems are set up properly. Whoever is doing your programming needs to be fired. The voice mail Robot tries to second guess the reason your calling. She goes through a list of about 20 options, none of which are the reason I'm calling. If I try to refill an RX from the on-line list It goes no where. This has gone on for at least 5 consecutive days. In spite of my being a customer for many, many years, it's time for me to say GOODBYE to CVS. I can't handle this frustration any longer!

Before you go to CVS to get your prescriptions do a price check with your insurance and GoodRX. I didn’t and with my insurance I was charged $240 more than what GoodRX coupon for CVS would have been. CVS pharmacy policy is against a price correction ever EVER within 5 minutes or 24 hours - Ever. One pharmacist said they don’t check GoodRX etc. for the customer when the cost is high after telling her that my HyVee does that as a matter of customer service. And she said - Go to HyVee then. Aetna insists on using CVS as they are owned by CVS. This was the last of my prescriptions that remained at CVS and my last interaction with them. It’s been impossible to do auto refill there also. So due diligence friends- take a few minutes and price check with your insurance and GoodRx if your prescription falls outside a low co-pay.
