Absolutely nothing surprises me about any of the CVS pharmacies. I live in the state of New York and in the past I dealt with the CVS pharmacy located in Middletown NY. I went to pick up prescriptions for my children. My children are twins, therefore there was a misunderstanding of which twin medicatios I had already picked up., And which twin medications I had to pick up. The other prescription for the other twin was not available to be picked up at the moment, when I picked up the first twin medications, therefore I was unable to get both medications for my twins at the same time as I normally would. While trying to pick up the other medication for my other twin child I haven't received yet the pharmacist supposedly manager talked to me like I was stupid and like I didn't know what I was talking about Meanwhile obviously she's the stupid one cause if you saw which twin medication was already picked up then she should have known which one had to be picked up. SIMPLE!, and it's ONLY COMMON SENSE! you're obviously looking up the wrong twin name. But yet she is SUPPOSEDLY a pharmacy "manager," Lol dahhh!!! So I realized she had looked up the wrong twin name, I went back into the pharmacy and much to my surprise I was being CALLED NAMES, MADE FUN OF AND TALKED ABOUT BY THE CVS pharmacist SUPPOSEDLY PHARMACY MANAGER and TWO OTHER OF THE CVS PHARMACY ASSOCIATES!!!! NO LIE THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING IT'S ON CAMERA!!!!! I only used the CVS pharmacy because my pharmacy did not take my new insurance. Thank God the pharmacy I normally had used now accepts my new Insurance, and even if my pharmacy I have dealt with prior in past still didn't accept my new insurance, I KNOW ONE THING FOR SURE I HURRIED UP AND IMMEDIATELY GOT THE HELL AWAY FROM CVS PHARMACY! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO TELLING WHAT COULD OR WOULD HAPPEN AT CVS PHARMACY!!!I MY ADVISE TO ANYONE WHO DEALS WITH CVS PHARMACY IS TO GET AWAY FROM THEM AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!!!! THEY SEEMINGLY DON'T HAVE KNOWLEDGE TO WHAT THEY'RE DOING AND THEY LOOK AT CUSTOMERS AS IF THE CUSTOMERS ARE THERE ENEMIES ESPECIALLY BY TALKIN ABOUT CUSTOMERS THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW STRAIGHT OUT IN THE OPEN WITH NO CARE (NONE WHATEVER). My question what is wrong with CVS company and the people who work for them (CVS) because, I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE, THEY'VE BEEN ALL OVER THE NEWS ON TELEVISION, NOT FOR GOOD THINGS, AND 99.9 % OF THERE REVIEWS ARE HORRIBLE!!!(most of the one star they receive from a review is due to the person having to hit at least one star just to post the review, which is the same as for me.

I’m at the CVS pharmacy in Creve Coeur Missouri picking up medicine for my mother. The line is inside is 10 feet people deep. The pharmacist is running ragged, the phones are ringing & you could hear the recording stating you have 5 to 6 pharmacy calls waiting. CVS needs to employ more pharmacist to help with the people working these crazy hours to assist folks waiting inside the store and at the drive-through. And just to mention, the pharmacist & the other staff were all helpful and very patient. Absolutely insane. Instead of worrying about getting the mini clinic set up, employ more pharmacist.

Good luck when calling them because their systems are stupid/slow/dumb and its hard getting to someone. i have to hang up and dial the customer services numbers about 5 times before getting someone. how are you a big corporation and pride on great customer services when you cant fix you IVR systems!! what a joke! Highly doubt the big ups will see this because if they seen other reviews, change wouldve been happened.

I have an issue with CVS's 'extrabucks' and coupons that are issued on long strips of paper each visit. Primarily, my complaint is that they expire in only one (1) week, which is even more ludicrous given they're for products either just purchased or purchased very recently! Essentially, these coupons are worthless, a waste of paper & time, and a pretty transparent business ploy (i.e., "Oh, look at all the discounts that CVS provides us lucky customers!").

My husband had to get a prescription from our local CVS until our mail-order company had time to ship the prescription. Now, for the past 2 months, we've gotten auto calls saying the prescription is ready for pick-up because they automatically refilled it. We've received more than 20 auto calls, even after calling the pharmacy and telling them we didn't need the prescription from them. Horrible customer service!

Needed to purchase over the counter eye vitamins and needed assistance finding them at CVS on Aliante in North Las Vegas. I stood at the pharmacy counter for 5 minutes. There where four people in the pharmacy. I was the only customer. They all saw me standing there and never came to the counter to help me. Customer Service needs to improve. In the future I will take my business to Walgreens.

They charged me $16.16 for 6 tablets of Phenazopyridine which should be less than $0.21 each .... CVS sucks... about to take my scripts elsewhere

On August 25, 2020 I received a call from CVS Pharmacy (Santa Barbara, CA) asking for Gretchen. I responded by saying: "they have the wrong number". Today, August 26, I received a recorded call at 6:30am, stating that my prescription is ready for pick-up. This time, I wrote down the phone number and learned it was a pharmacy located in Santa Barbara. I live in Honolulu, Hawaii. It's a no brainer that I am not going to fly to California to pick up my prescription. I called CVS Corporate Office and operator Carol answered. Before I could state my case, she cut me off and abruptly transferred me. Sarah - Pharmacy Manager answered. Again, I relayed my complaint about CVS calling the wrong person in Hawaii to pick up a prescription in Santa Barbara. With NO APOLOGIES, NO EXPLANATION, she rudely and curtly said: "I will look into it and HUNG UP ON ME!!! Keep in mind, this is a Manager who unprofessionally deals with customers. As part of her job, does she not CHECK PRESCRIPTIONS being filled by staff BEFORE BEING GIVEN OUT??? I called the Corporate Office in Rhode Island to make a complaint. Operator answered. I stated that I wanted to make a formal complaint. Before being transferred, in case we get cut-off, I asked for her name - she refused. I asked for an ID - she refused. I finally was able to talk to Kianna in the Executive Support Team. What a harrowing experience - dealing with rude, unprofessional and incompetent personnel at CVS Pharmacy. Since I handle marketing and sales in my office work duties, I will share this experience with my huge client database. Aside from the risk of giving the wrong prescription to the wrong person, the experience was SO BAD. I will strongly recommend to my clients to go to Walgreens. My review rating for CVS Pharmacy is an absolute ZERO.
