Ware, MA CVS pharmacy has the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered! I was immediately caught off guard when I called to update my insurance by a rude employee who was also extremely condescending when I was trying to give my insurance card information. I was told my prescription would be ready in 1 hour so I waited almost 2. When I got there they told me it wasn’t ready and was going to be 25-30 minutes. They immediately got defensive and nasty when I told them I was told an hour and it was almost 2. They told me I was rushing them and displayed extremely hostile attitude in which customers behind me also witnessed. I waited an additional 20 minutes and finally received my prescription. Extremely rude and went into defensive mode immediately. I dealt with a rude woman on the phone and then a man when I went in. The nastiness is completely uncalled for, it’s very difficult to be nice when the employee is not nice. The only nice employee was the young girl who rang me up.

Cvs preys on young adults and college students since this job can barely keep up with minimum wage to pay it's employees. CVS is retail so, of course it's expected to have bad hours and overworked employees. You have 3 full time customer service staff and 2 full time pharmacy employees. Then everyone else is just a filler to give off days to the full time employees so weekends and nights are the typical hiring shift. When part time employees need extra hours they have to travel (30-40 mins- on a bad day) to other stores for a minimum of an extra 2 or 3 hours shift that can come and go. Getting extra hours are dictated by your boss and how hard they choose to fight for you to get hours. There are annual corporate planned budget cuts with devestating salary deficits. Cvs stores are ran religiously to maintain high profit margins. This is regulated by cutting work hours in the spring and also late in the holiday season where someone working 40 will be cut to 15 hrs. These desperate times often leave staff to dwindle down to 3-4 employees avg to just 2 ( employee and boss) or just the pharmacist alone (they are salaried and sadly paid to carry to weight of the pharmacy even alone when asked). If you need a part-time job or just need job experience. This job is a good start and like anything else.The truth is that your experience will be shaped by your colleagues you work with and the management team that leads you. I would apply to a store your already have a relationships with. Benefits are ok but the issue is, will you be able to afford them? This goes back to my comment about how I feel cvs is budgeted to employ students and basement dwellers not paying any hard core bills and this would be a good experience for gaining skills and managing more responsibility.

Over 2 weeks ago, I paid $103 for a prescription delivered to my home. Today CVS arbitrarily decided to take $123.50 more to pay for the same delivery. Their floor supervisor Ian told me the 2nd chg was pending not posted and had been reversed. This was a lie. I told him at the time I was looking at my acct which clearly said POSTED. Can't cancel ATM cause getting my unemployment thru it. I am overdrawn because of this and can't buy food, gas, medicine or anything else because of this double charge.

Stop bugging me. I don't know how you got my email, but I can't unsubscribe because the link is wholly engulfed in an ad you can't minimize.

This write up is for CVS Store #3466 Recently changed getting my Son's prescriptions filled from Publix to CVS due to Insurance dropping Publix's contract. Same issue happened twice in one week. First the doctor's office sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. I asked for the pharmacy tech to move the prescription over from Publix's answer NO. So they would not do a courtesy and make a phone call. Ok so I thought it was because they were lazy. I was not happy but I said OK let it go everyone is entitled to a bad day. Now a second attempt today (Thursday 11/19/20) I called to see if my son's prescription were ready I called the pharmacist. Now one of the prescription was not available so I get an answer wont be ready til Monday or Tuesday of next week. There are in a mile radius 6 other CVS stores now there all out of Kolpin? For the love of God you have to be kidding me! Oh the pharmacist is not allowed to send it to another pharmacy. Excuses Excuses, Did you ever feel when you have ever met a person that they try to sabotage anything and everything possible if they felt they could and try to get over on you, this is that person behind the Pharmacy desk! This is that type of person you do not want to be making Health Decisions for your family. Tried to call the front store manager that turned into a disaster everyone trying to cover up all the stupid mistakes. Wish they put more emphasis on process and customer relationships than trying to rationaliaze co workers being lazy or lying.

I have been holding for CVS pharmacy for 40 minutes, and am still holding. This happens every time I call! I switched from Walgreens to CVS in January due to my insurance requirement, but thankfully, Walgreens is a provider in 2021. I will definitely switch back. Get me out of this holding h--- with CVS!

I have truly never experienced worse customer service. I was told my covid test was lost (after waiting for results for more than a week). Trying to get any traction on the situation was a nightmare. The individual from medical records was especially painful. I was trying to understand next steps (do i need to be re-tested, etc) and she was rude, dismissive, and would overall unhelpful. I will never give another CVS my business.

CVS customer service is horrible! I was transferred to two different people and had to start my complaint over three times. I tried to use their online complaint and it did not work. I wasted at least an hour and wound up more frustrated than I was when I began. There are too many other sources for the items that CVS sells--no need to go there.
