Duke Street 24 hours CVS pharmacy as one of the worst in Virginia.,it takes him about 45 minutes to answer the phone. Sometimes they pick up then hang up phone not sure if that is purposely or call just drop. the phone to hang up on you, it’s not the people that work there it’s the management they need to hire more people it’s ridiculous it makes developing country five star compared to this one I give it a zero star. They need to hire more help. It appears The upper management to to read these reviews, not to meantiin you can’t even get the meds you pefer due to choices the make with manufacturers it’s really poorly run selection on meds as well as help need it. Hire more people. CVS shore pay attention to customer service.

Tried to schedule a flu shot,it was impossible! Was told had to go on line, nothing on there for flu shots, just covid( of course) I spend 45 min on hold just trying to speak to someone to direct me where to go to on my computer because nothing on there was showing me where to go.spoke to a representative that put me on hold and never came back on,called back was told me they basically didn't know what to tell me.asked to speak to a supervisor was told they didn't have any.a hour later still can't make a appointment to get shot.y r they making it as hard as possible? What happened to walking in and getting one.it is getting impossible to do anything without jumping through a hundred hurdles. Guess no flu shot for me this year

Don't try to call your local CVS…
Don't try to call your local CVS pharmacy about anything other than hours or your prescription(s). Don't waste your valuable time. You will be shuttled through their AI phone system, regardless of needing to SPEAK WITH A PERSON AT THE STORE! I needed to find out if this CVS pharmacy had any stock of the home 15 minute Rapid Covid-19 Tests. Instead of being connected with someone in the pharmacy my call went half way around planet earth to a person who was unable to help me because I needed to call the store directly. The irony was not lost on me but my patience had evaporated as I needed those tests to drop them off at my stepson place. Him, his wife and three children needed these tests and I am trying to navigate a flawed CVS phone system. I am going to Walgreens.

I just saw 85% of the reviews are negative <5. Duh CVS, that should be a wake up call. We all can get what we need online and delivered....dodo more! Help your clients who sell within your brick and mortar stores an teach your staff- especially the pharmacy staff to be 1. Correct, 2. Pleasant, and 3. Available in person or on the phone in less than OMG 15 minutes. Even a, sorry will get back as soon as I can VERSUS your disgusting approach of distance an No communication. MARK MY WORDS. THIS WILL COME BSCK TO HAUNT AND DESTROY THE CVS BUSINESS.

David is such a delight!
Just wanted to say that everytime I go through the drive-thru, I get happy to see David working. He always is cheerful and so helpful. He is a great employee and should be recognized! 👏 👏 👏

CVS at 61-15 Metropolitan Avenue is UNRELIABLE/INEFFICIENT
On Monday, November 8, 2021, I went to the CVS on 61-15 Metropolitan Avenue in Queens, NY 11385 to get a PCR test required by the hospital three days before I was going to get a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy on Friday, November 12. To begin with no one in the pharmacy was able to tell me where this test was to be done or they couldn't be bothered ... It was a customer who heard me asking and told me I'd have to go through the drive-thru. Fine. I exited the building and drove to the drive-thru. I had to honk my horn to get someone's attention. Well,I self-administered the test as directed by the person at the window and was told the results would be available in 2 days or by Wednesday, November 10. I didn't have a result by Nov. 10 or Thursday, Nov. 11 midday. At this point, I am now getting very stressed because these procedures have already been postponed previously due to a similar situation.
After midday on Thursday, Nov. 11, I called CVS and the person answering the phone checked and told me the results had not come in. Now, I'm a 76 year old woman and computers are not my forte; however, I decided to wait an hour or so. After that I decided to check the paperwork CVS handed me and saw that Quest was the lab used. I called an 800 Quest number. I had to wait at least 1/2 hour to get a human. I was told they couldn't give out this information on the phone unless I could somehow provide some verification which I did by telling the whole story about my procedures were dependent on the PCR results and that I had the test done at CVS a 61 15 Metropolitan Avenue. This information confirmed my identity enabling the Quest rep to send the results to my email address I provided to her. When asked, the Quest rep told me CVS did not include neither my address nor my phone number with the sample and that's the reason why I had not received the results!
The results of these procedures are to go to my Cardiologist and Vascular Surgeon so they can figure out what's wrong with severe chest pains I've been experiencing for many months. The inefficiency of CVS at this particular Metropolitan Avenue thankfully did not negatively affect my health but it very well could've if subsequent medical treatment had been delayed because results of a PCR test were inaccessible because CVS employee inefficiency resulting in a delay of treatment causing a cardiac arrest.
I wouldn't recommend this particular Minute Clinic or Pharmacy at this location. I would've given it a minus STAR rating but that wasn't an option!!
Overall, CVS Pharmacies have long lines and I know this because that's where my prescriptions are filled as designated by my health care insurance company!

Had to go to ER and CVS is one of the few somehow contracted to prescribe VA meds under this situation. Had used CVS before and I would rather wait until the next day, in pain, before going to local pharmacy and pay out of pocket.
Staff will ignore you completely. If they do recognize your presence your usually dealing with someone too ignorant or too pissed off to help you.
Will never use them. Hopefully some congressman somewhere will stop the CVS monopoly on VA meds.

Rude pharmacy CVS Omaha
I needed a knee brace and the CVS on 84th & Center in Omaha NE was the only place that had one I wanted. Tried to make an apptmt for Covid booster online while picking up brace. CVS online kept rejecting my attempts to make apptmt. Went out there to get brace and tried to get shot as walk-in. Pharmacy was rude and "Next time, blah, blah, blah." THE STORE WAS EMPTY except for me and the CVS employees. I left without shot. Never again will I shop or buy from CVS. There won't be a "next time."
