My doctor sent my slip over to CVS. I never got a call. So I called and I was on hold for about 2hours on and off. I finally called my doctor and said please send to another place. When I went to pick up my med in new place they told me Cvs had to be cancel. Well how can you or your doctor cancel if they don't answer the phone. It's terrible. I will never use them.

I HATE CVS
I gave one star because I tend to get free money (extra bucks) at least once a month. I take multiple daily prescriptions so I am there a few times a month. I wish they would all sync so it could be one visit a month instead of 3 or 4. My employer encourages we use CVS Caremark. I don’t mind the $6 or more I receive a month…in fact I use that as the excuse to stay with CVS. I could walk there too.
Being prescribed 3 controlled substances, each refill is a game that is not fun in any way. I never know if I’m going to run out of my daily medicine before they finally fill it.
For example, my ADHD medicine was due to fill on 1/1/22. The last pill taken on 12/31/21. My Dr. sent the script on 12/30/21 so that I would not run out with New Years Day closures. Cvs never let me know it was called in or waiting. In fact, my husband went to pick it up to only be turned away stating I had nothing waiting. The app stated it was last filled 12/30/21 and that’s it. I ended up having to call the next day due to my busy work schedule to only be told, “OK, give us 2-3 hours.” No apology. Not the first, second, or third time in a year. The only reason I did not go a day without my medicine was because I had the stomach flu and could not keep anything down for a week. Talk about luck!
I have personally overheard the pharmacists talking about patients on more than one occasion. Carbondale, PA is a very small town where most people know each other. The last time I overheard them speaking about patients was October ‘21. The not-so-nice women were talking about my own cousin, using her last name, spewing details of the prescription and how annoyed they were that she was calling. I personally knew she had been waiting for and going without her daily medicine for several days. Talk about a HIPAA violation!!!
The ladies in our pharmacy are rude, nasty, ignorant, obviously overworked, and do not care if someone goes days without their daily meds.
I could go on for pages upon pages with complaints about CVS Pharmacy. I will leave on this note: if you want to be judged on the medications you need and treated like a drugatic, go to CVS.

I would give less than 1 if possible
I would give less than 1 if possible. I have attempted to receive various vaccines for myself or a family member. Each time appt were messed up, or when out of stock not called to reschedule the appt. Phone service for help to schedule an appt is poor, and not helpful.

Lousy Service!!!!
Having made an appointment through the very long convoluted online process and then confirmed the appointment telephonically, then having driven 45 mins from the other side of Folsom I was extremely disappointed to arrive and find a shuttered CVS pharmacy drive in window. Upon going into the store I was informed the pharmacist had left sick and there was nothing they could do/ could care less to do…. I then had to go to go to the urgent care in Mandeville where the PCR test for travel to Canada on the 31st cost me $250.00!!!
I tried calling and asking for an explanation but was told to call customer relations who are literally impossible to get hold of!!!
In short I would urge any and all customers to avoid the unreliable, rude lousy service of CVS in general! I will no longer patronize any of their stores!

Need to be opened from lunch before 2 pm
Went to pick up my prescription today and their pharmacy is closed until 2 for lunch. I don't have all the time in the world to wait for them to open to get my medicines since I work out of town and won't be home until Saturday evening and they are closed.

Poorly run store
Shelves are a mess. Product strewn all over. Usually out of basic many basic items like bath soap, shampoo, vitamins. Staff seems to turn over almost monthly and the latest ones are all but clueless. Do not recommend shopping at 1600 Saratoga store.

Bad service CVS
My wife and I, we are 75 years old, received a call from CVS Bardoia, NY that her and my medications, including diabetic medications, were finally ready, and, having bad previous experience, I asked the pharmacist by name about each medication if there would be problems and time. if it's better to pick up the order. The next day, when we came for the order, we were told to wait 15 minutes and we received part of the order, then another 40 minutes were waiting for other medicines. As a result, I had to wait more than two hours, and all this was accompanied by rudeness and outright mockery from the staff, especially from the supervisor Tina. At home, we found the lancets not compatible with the One Touch Ultra blood glucose monitoring systems, and we had to go back the next day and return the lancets. Again, everything went in a mocking manner. I had to call SVS twice to work with clients and ask for help, they promised that someone would call back within 24-48 hours, but no one called back. Asked my doctor to redirect the prescription to Walgreens and my wife got the medicine without any problems today. Better to stay away from CVS.

CVS - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
I called my prescription renewal into the pharmacy on Monday. I went in on Saturday morning to the Leander, TX location. First they were due to open at 9AM - at 9:15 they finally opened and I was 4th in line. The people prior to me could not pick up their prescriptions due to understaffing they were told. The person who was there to help could not enter new medical ID card info in, they had not had time to fill the prescriptions, they could not access the on line orders, etc. Well I had called in 4 days prior and they needed to contact the doctor's office for the refill. This medicine I was out of today. The girl said they were waiting for a response from the doctor. I asked when they had contacted the doctor and they said just now. If it was not the case my employer demanded I go to CVS I would never again enter that store. The person waiting on me wanted to keep my insurance cards until someone came in that knew how to enter the information. I certainly was not going to leave my insurance cards the way they run their business. CVS needs to wake up and realize we do not go to the pharmacy because we are bored. This is the second time I had the same problem with this same location. Last time I had multiple people walk right by me and act like they could not see me standing there. I finally had to go find the store manager and complain. Then they helped me,but were rude about it. I HATE CVS!
