Its open enrollment at my company and I’m switching to a plan with a mail order pharmacy; NOT CVS! I made four attempts to obtain a refill without success. The pharmacy was closed for lunch (which I think is good policy)., 2 attempts were foiled due to long, long lines and finally they returned the item to stock and now have none in stock. I’ve been trying for weeks to get this Rx filled. I feel sorry for the pharmacists and staff who are working in profoundly under staffed stores. High turnover and inability to recruit and retain staff is usually a sign of poor company policy and poor working conditions. My concerns are lack of access to medical care and increased risk of medication errors. When will CVS execs address the issue? Will it take someone being injured and suing them for damages? No more CVS for me. There are much better options out there.

The words CVS and pharmacy should not…
The words CVS and pharmacy should not be used together! CVS a bad joke!

Defective Glucose Monitor — NO REFUNDS
CVS does not care about you diabetes. They knowingly sell a defective Bluetooth Glucose Monitor (read the reviews) that give false readings. And they make it nearly impossible to get a refund. This is negligence, consumer fraud, total incompetence or all three. Case ID: S-9976729. Don’t risk your health with CVS products! They don’t care about you or the defective products they sell. And you won’t get your money back either. An American disgrace and pure greed!

Palm Desert Hwy 111 CVS
This review is about the Palm Desert pharmacy in the Target store on Hwy 111. I have been going there for 4-5 years. They are so busy they make you feel like you are bothering them. I had 3 vaccinations there in Oct. I waited 30 minutes and finally asked they were going to get to me, was told they had forgot about me. This week I called to get a current prescription transferred to them from another Pharmacy where it had originated and was told that I must have that Pharmacy call them. I went to Wal-Mart and asked them if they could fill it. They said no problem, they would call my other pharmacy and have it transferred immediately. I have only used CVS because my Part D insurance is by Aetna and they push us to CVS. I just changed my Part D insurance to Humana which uses Wal-Mart. After 4-5 years of misery dealing with them, I am looking forward to Walmart

Need More Help in Pharmacy
Dr sent in scripts after surgery Saturday morning. Went to pick up Saturday evening at 5p. Of the 3 only 1 ready. Came back Sunday at 12:30. Neither ready. They said they could expedite it and that it would be 30 mins. Should have used the hospital pharmacy as it was recommended.

The problem is corporate greed!
I have found the low customer service reviews of the pharmacy are well founded. Everytime i use their services there is an incredible wait for assistance, and Nov 14 was no exception. There were four windows open for service, different services at different windows, all with lines! While waiting and observing the situation, there were multiple persons behind the counter performing their jobs, mostly looking at computer screens and avoiding eye contact, and phones ringing and ringing. Two people that had been waiting at window labeled consultation, eventually just left. I finally spoke publicly and asked if another window was moving, then a person behind the counter did relatively soon come to my window. I had gone on line to schedule vaccines' appointment. Their computer had nothing about appointment, but I had email confirmation luckily or I'm not sure I would have gotten them. I also noticed a poster advertising help needed/ job openings for that store. I'm telling you all the medications the people behind the counter fill everyday i do not want them rushing through filling mine in a blurred hurry. So why can't CVS fill positions and increase customer satisfaction? I googled CVS profits and all info is from public statistics. Well CVS is doing very well!!! Could the problem be corporate greed? "Specifically within the Healthcre Benefits arm, CVS achieved remarkable revenue upswing to $26.7 billion, an impressive 18% growth rate." Then toward bottom of same page they're talking about their stocks, why don't you buy? That was reported Aug 28,2023. Another report released Aug 29,2023 states "2005-2022 CVS Health Revenue. Year 2022 CVS Health Corporations generated approximately $322.5 billion US dollars of revenue in total, an increase compared to previous years. This value is the highest ever registered in the same considered time frame." So just a thought, but if customer satisfaction is important to CVS Corporations why don't they work on getting the numbers up, you know, like their financial numbers? Those are outstanding! CVS pay your employees a good wage and you can fill positions and retain good people. Again one can clearly see what numbers are important to the top and the poor employees behind the counter will continue to take the brunt of customer dissatisfaction and hate their jobs. Our anger should be with corporate greed and how poor service only increases their revenue.

Horrid service at pharmacy!
Called in prescription before 4pm. Went to pick the small bottle of prescription cough syrup. Made to wait 1 hour, even though I told them I needed to use a rest room. No restroom available. Worst experience at a cvs ever. Do not go to cvs at 3911 Bristol St..

The long waits are horrible
I used cvs for a long time but between the extremely long wait times and how impersonal it is there I have switched to a local pharmacy (Horsham spyware pharmacies ) and it’s like night and day . I would never go back.
