Dodged a bullet
Husband and I went into the wichita falls tx facility and we got excited to switch gyms for a few reasons but when it got down to the numbers of joining nothing made sense red flags were popping up left and right. The guy said normal price would be 107 but if we joined his family plan on his account we would only be charged 11 bucks today. Red flag I don't want to be on your family plan or account I want my own. So then he says it's 107 today and then tries to continue to get us to be under his family account because it's a better deal. Then I mentioned I thought it was 1 dollar to sign up that's what the paper Said and then he said we have to pay annual fees and other fees even though the paper said it will be waved so then he said it was an old promotion so then I go to the online website for crunch and it said no annual fee no fees at all to sign up and it would be 1 cent wow thats even better he seen me doing this and said it's not correct and that he's not sure why it's saying that I looked at him and thought red flag after red flag. After being with planet fitness for 5 years with no issues or hided fees I think I will stick with them. Crunch also advertise spray tanning but when I asked about it he said they do not have it there. They make everything sound nice but when it comes to numbers nothing makes sense if it sounds to good to be true then it is. We ended up not signing up and I'm happy I didn't blindly listen. It pays to do your research.
