Creative ArcadesReviews of creative-arcades.com

This child of the 80s cannot thank Creative Arcades enough for allowing me to bring my childhood nostalgia into my house. They were absolutely amazing to work with...from the sales department, to the owner, and the art department. I swear they've all been to the same "Harvard" school of customer service. I am in a wheelchair and they made some modifications just for me in order to make it work for me. Then the art department did a custom graphics package to work on the cherry wood unit. Do yourself a favor and don't go anywhere else. I researched for several months before going with Creative Arcades and am so glad I did! Thank-you CA!!

Warning! If for some reason there is something wrong with your machine don’t expect them to fix it. My machine was delivered in December 2020 with a damaged cabinet. It’s now May with no fix. I was passed from person to person sending multiple pictures with multiple excuses and promises. I finally fixed it myself.

Just wanted to let you know how appreciated your product is. When my wife was young, her parents divorced, and her father went broke. When it was his weekend, they would make a point to visit the arcade, but he would give her only $1. My wife soon learned to get really good at one game so she could maximize her four tokens, and playing Galaga she could stretch her time to more than an hour. Well several decades later she was delighted to have her own customized Galaga. And you can tell she still has the skills! Though a bit rusty. And it was hilarious to watch her teach tips and tricks to the next generation. Anyhow, thanks for a great quality product, easy ordering process, great graphics and personalization, quick and easy shipping, and for helping her relive her memories. You got me tons of bonus points! Will

I love it :) full of fun

We received our cocktail table arcade unit last week. We love the "old time" arcade games we remember playing. Prior to receiving our unit I called Creative Arcades with some questions. They were very responsive and helpful. I feel comfortable knowing I can call upon them in the future, if needed. Very satisfied with the unit and customer service!

My review is solely based on customer service. I wouldn't buy this again, and would choose a different company due to poor customer service. They respond quickly, but failed to follow through with promises they made for when my machine was delivered. Now 5 months later they still haven't delivered and every time I reached out led me to believe I would get what I was promised soon. I think I reached out 10-15 times. I decided to give up with them because it felt like I was getting the run around. Don't be fooled by their quick response time and telling you what you want to hear.

Brian and his staff have been courteous and helpful throughout this entire process. I am thoroughly frustrated with how long it has taken to receive the finished product, but Brian assures me that these are beyond his control and due to COVID and the associated supply chain issues/port closures. I take him at his word. This review will be updated as the situation develops.

Full disclosure, this review is purely based on our customer experience as we never received our machine. We placed our order for the arcade roughly a week after Thanksgiving. We knew when ordering the machine we would be lucky to receive it by Christmas but we had no idea the ordeal that was starting. Communication from the seller was good at first. It started to go a bit sideways when we got a text about 2 weeks before Christmas that stated that all orders made on Black Friday would arrive before Christmas. Roughly a week later we reached out for an update on our order and got the exact same text as if it were just copied and pasted. We already knew we had placed our order after Black Friday so that wasn’t much help. All communication after that was initiated by us. We reached out weekly for 4 straight weeks and kept getting excuses. This started to make us nervous. Finally we reached out asking for a firm delivery date. Their response was crickets. Not a single response from the 3 employees included on the email for 24 hours. Finally, I emailed to cancel our order and demanded a refund. Surprisingly we received a call almost immediately. They were very kind about the situation and agreed to refund our money. I won’t speculate on any issues on the sellers end. What I will say is that if they had been open and honest about what was going on they likely still would still have had a sale and I certainly wouldn’t have written this review. The only reason I have them 2 stars is because of the kind woman who reached out after my final email. My advice, if you decide to purchase from this company, is to immediately initiate communication and get them to commit to a delivery date.
