FAIL !!! They charged me 55 eyro to verify my account.. they dont even ask me for that... dont use it for ur safety ... i have to change my card and also talk with my bank in possibility we can take back this money ..

They charge me every year even though each year I cancel my membership and deactivate my account. I have to dispute the charge each year with my bank. They don’t even have my current bank card on file but are still able to charge me. I now have to change my bank to get away from them. They make it impossible to contact them. I stopped using their services years ago. Don’t sign up!! You will be charged by then forever!!

Always having problems with this worhtless app, at first it was only in Russian but now i cant even log in because of an 'error' .

Über Couchsurfing habe ich bisher die besten Reisetipps von Einheimischen bekommen, die mir ein Reiseführer einfach nicht bieten kann. Einige haben sich auch während meiner Reisen mit mir getroffen und mir "ihren" persönlichen Ort gezeigt, das war immer fantastisch. Übernachtet habe ich dort noch nie bei jemandem und auch nicht beherbergt, das ist mir zu riskant. Bisher habe ich nur tolle Menschen getroffen, aber manche die einen anschreiben sind auch echt merkwürdig und sind nicht seriös. Zum Kennenlernen und Austauschen eine super Plattform, zum Übernachten finde ich es zu riskant.

Two weeks ago there was the first time when I tried CouchSurfing when I was in Milan and I am really glad that this platform exists. It was the unforgettable trip with the great host and for free. Perfect for students' trips.

I have to say - I am on the road and the idea of couchsurfing every now and again - especially when I am in a new area - is appealing to me. So I signed up for Couchsurfing (the app). And my experience thus far has been one of frustration and annoyance. It kept asking me to verify (phone and laptop) and so I did so through Facebook thinking it would be easier. But then it kept having me verify and then it added more than one account. OMG."This isn't worth the pain that this is becoming," I think to myself. Verify Account Finally I think I have it worked out, taken the time to fill out my profile (another annoyance - I signed up through Facebook - some of this information should have auto-populated like it does with other apps) and then it prompts me to verify my account. OK. I think - no problem. I'll verify through PayPal - probably cost me a like a $1 to verify that I have a legit account. Nope. $60 USD. WHAAAAT??? So I go back and look at the verification page - NO WHERE does it say that it's $60 to support them. No where. So at this point I am totally turned off. Conclusion: I am sure there is some great value here. Otherwise they wouldn't be doing it and people wouldn't be signing up. But I am probably not the only one that has had this first impression. So if you're reading this from the company (long shot I know) then you should know this is happening. I am now far more hesitant to bother with your service.

This is not a road Tripper type website I thought it was it's a bunch of creepy people on their wanting to hook up wanting to know your address wanting to get into your house guys that want to come over they don't even want to meet out and do anything fun there's not any place for you to stay you're better off doing Airbnb are getting a hotel when you travel this is a joke it's absolutely appalling and couch Surfers. Com doesn't give a damn they don't care about anybody they get mad at the people who complain who are getting harassed who are getting explicit stuff sent to them

Couchsurfing is a great traveller's community. Great means of information and support for someone travelling to a new country and most couchsurfers are friendly and informative about their locality. This community has great potential to thrive and hit a bigger level of audience
