No answers on mail after trying several times, there was something wrong in the app and then my rate of reply changed into 50 percent instead of 100 percent (not true) and they can't improve this. The site and customer service are very hard to reach. A long time ago Couchsurfing was much more fun. As well, many people use it now and when they offer their room they ask money for using their room. That was not the policy of Couchsurfing as I remember well.

one star is too big gift for CS. it sucks and milks the users. force to pay to login at all. after payment and login. it shows an update force you to pay and join a group. force you to confirm identity. no one use at all. I am supper unsatisfied.

I have been a member for over 10 years. Years ago, I paid for a "Lifetime Membership" (Verification) to support the platform and secure permanent access. It was promised as a one-time payment. Now, the developers have unilaterally revoked my access and blocked me with a paywall, demanding a monthly subscription just to see my own data. This is a blatant breach of contract and a deceptive business practice. They are essentially stealing money from their most loyal long-term supporters. I have already reported this fraud to Google Play Compliance and European Consumer Protection authorities. Couchsurfing is no longer about community; it’s about extortion. Stay away!

Un "ambassadeur" m'a retiré la vérification d'identité alors que j'avais utilisé la CB de ma mère pour payer malgré justificatifs possibles à fournir. Je n'ai jamais trouvé d'hôte mais j'ai hébergé une cinquantaine de personnes. Ils m'ont fait payer et ont désactivé mon compte de 15 ans car une jeune femme troll qui avait passé toute la nuit chez moi dans son propre lit m'a diffamé en m'accusant de tentative de viol.

Dal 2016 ho iniziato a ospitare viaggiatori quando ho avuto un appartamento tutto mio, since 2016 I started to host guest/travellers. Ho conosciuto solo persone con buone vibrazioni, sarò stato fortunato? I met only good vibes people only, maybe lucky? Stavo leggengo delle parole cariche di rabbia nei commenti negativi lasciati, perchè ? non è una app moderna, il sito è un pò lento e ha un costo annuale di 15 euro da qualche anno, ma cosa si vuole di più che trovare un posto sicuro per dormire senza spendere 0.04€ al giorno?
