We ordered 2 tatami mats. Now, we have a rush grass mat for meditation, so are familiar with the natural smell. The ones from Comfort Pure stunk so badly of mold that it was scary. We slid one out of the (bent) box and it also was badly bent. It stunk like black mold. I was afraid to slide the 2nd mat out, fearing mold spores. I owned the box about 8 inches and that one stunk like mold too. We were told to lay the bent mat flat and put a weight on it and it would bend flat. For the expensive price we paid, I don't think we should have to deal with the hassle. Both mats were returned and we were charged fees. Beware that these mats are super stinky, like black mold scary. I don't know how anyone could sleep on one.

I placed the order for my bed on June 6, 2025. I still haven't received it. First it was out of stock and then it was supposedly shipped. I even set up an appt for delivery and that date was cancelled the day before delivery. I have yet to hear back about when I might receive my bed. I should have not spent so much money for a bed I can't seem to get. Super frustrated!!! Hoping to be able to come back and give a better review if I ever get my bed.

What a weird transaction. Just tried to buy a bed and was called over and over on phone (traveling on vacation and asked them to email). At first it was in stock, then it wasn't, then it was...I'm actually still confused what is going on. Very strange to buy something online and be called over and over again instead of emailed.

Good product merchandise customer service good response to the neat very good. I would recommend to anyone.

Last year for the Fourth of July, I spent the night with my dog on a pile of dog beds in the bathroom. Needless to say, my selection of beds curated for dogs weighing 35-85 lbs proved less than ideally supportive for a 53 year old 155 lb human with scoliosis. A year of consideration and research led me to purchase a shikibuton mattress from Comfort Pure. By the time I placed my order, they only had a month to get it to me. I hadn’t known that their mattresses are made to order. They got my mattress shipped literally 2 days after i emailed to ask if i would have it in time. It came, and while it is much firmer than my bed, it was plenty comfortable and I woke up without sciatica and had no numbness or tingling anywhere after two nights sleeping on the bathroom floor.

I was very impressed with my experience. I received a call to confirm the order information before it was shipped. I received the order within a few days. I was very surprised. Everything impressed me about the prices and company! Great job working with you.
