My wife and I took and moved part of her 401 K to a gold IRA account. The entire transaction was to be handled by Colonial Metals Group. All of the people we dealt with are now, no longer with the company. Paul Stone who was interviewed on DeVory Darkins was the reason we checked into Colonial Metals Group Group. Now Paul Stone is gone and all the people we dealt with are GONE!!! Paul Stone was the founder and CEO, now Brad Garine is the new CEO and owner. The company as gone dark is ghosting most of their customers if not all. Brad Garine needs to step up and tell us where our money and/or product is at, sooner rather than later. After weeks of trying to contact the company we got ahold of Jasmine she seemed to have some answers and was going to call us in a week with tracking information on our shipment, that was 3 weeks ago. It has been 4 months and nothing has happened no shipments, no word, no money returned. DO NOT TRUST COLONIAL METALS GROUP WITH YOUR MONEY!!! I AM NOW GOING TO HAVE TO TRACK THE INVOLVED INDIVIDUALS DOWN AND RETRIEVE OUR MONEY!!!

I kept believing their promises, doing everything they told me and sending every payment they requested, thinking I was finally close to my payout. But just as it seemed resolved, they changed the story again and stopped replying. With Meti𝘀‍u𝗿ge, it’s been completely different smooth withdrawals and none of the constant drama.

I tried calling And calling CMG several times waited 2 or 3 weeks never called back. Sent emails to CMG only got a reply 1 time. When I wanted to liquidate my holdings never got reply back. Equity Trust had a falling out with CMG said they would not work with CMG. This was the company that was holding my account for CMG. So I ended up having my metals shipped to me. While CMG said they would purchase metals back, they never returned my calls and messages to liquidate Metals account. I would not do business with this company. Be wary of this company.

Give all especially the elderly their hard earned money back. You promised them Gold/Silver in exchange for their 401K.. You never sent them anything for their savings you stole using fraud tactics, I know you stole all my savings I worked hard for all my life!!! $150,000. Metals that were purchased 4 months ago have never been delivered. Phone calls and emails are not returned. When I attempt to call the company on their advertised lines or on the phone numbers in email signatures from purchase, it goes straight to voicemail.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my retired brother, who sent a $50,000 check to Colonial Metals Group two months ago for a specific quantity of gold and silver bullion. The check was cashed and verified by the bank, but the metals were never delivered. Since then, neither he nor I have been able to reach a live representative. Phone calls go unanswered, and messages have not been returned. We’ve made multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly, but the lack of response has been deeply disappointing. Regardless of endorsements or public affiliations, this experience has raised serious concerns about the company’s reliability and accountability. I strongly urge others to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging in any financial transactions with Colonial Metals Group. It is now May 2026 and Colonial Metals Group has still not honored the implied contract for delivering silver and gold. They owe my brother $50,000, but they are duplicitous and we have low expectations of them honoring their obligations. We would not recommend them to anyone.
