Alex and Andrew were on-time and loaded our things with care, they were friendly, and efficient! UPDATED 2/12/26 I am updating my review because the original was written while we were still in the middle of the process and I felt pressured to remain positive to avoid additional charges. Unfortunately, our overall experience with this company was extremely disappointing. My daughter’s belongings were delivered more than a month past the agreed-upon timeframe, well beyond what would be considered reasonable. Throughout the process, we encountered repeated attempts to increase charges and add fees. We were required to sign what felt like hundreds of documents on a dirty iPad with an extremely small font, with key details (such as first date of delivery, accurate address, etc) omitted or unclear. The lack of transparency and professionalism was alarming. The company as a whole demonstrated a serious lack of integrity and accountability. It is honestly a relief that my daughter’s belongings arrived at all. I strongly caution anyone considering hiring Coastal Moving Co, Loadrans, or AJ Transit to do extensive research before signing any contracts.

I was given a quote to move an oversized piece of antique furniture about 170 miles. I paid a deposit via credit card. I was to give the driver $550 upon pick up AND delivery in CASH for a total of about $1900. The day of the move, they demanded another $500 in cash for same day moving. Then, after a talk with the supervisor, they decided not to charge me. Then, there was a $400 oversized fee. I cornered the agent on this charge and she laughed! I cancelled the move. In addition, the movers seemed incompetent and the truck door was too small. I was up front with the agent with pictures, measurements, etc. They were planning to take the antique piece to an undisclosed warehouse for an undetermined period of time. That was not okay. This was not the service I was sold. I am disputing the credit card charge. SCAM!

Danny and his team were very patient while we got some logistics figured out and took the time to answer many questions. They were punctual, efficient, and kind.

Omar and the crew of guys were Awesome. They were very professional and pleasant to work with. I appreciate the time and care they took packaging my belonging. Very quick at their job and there to lend a hand at any time. I really enjoyed working with them and would recommend them highly for any future moves. Thank you

I didn't like coastal under estimated by over 3k. I loved Rapid movers the 3rd party that actually did all the hard work, these 2 guys were amazing! Very friendly and kind. Coastal you need to give better estimates . I am a non working single woman, moving 1122 miles and you created unneeded stress.
