Cody Walker was very professional and very skilled technician. He paid attention to every detail, and even managed to work things out when the company, "Closets by Design" failed to send some of the right products. He worked straight through without taking a break. He installed two closets and my laundry room cabinets. He did an amazing job. I feel he is an asset to that company. We really appreciate the work he did for us. On another review I was very disappointed with the administrative team's service during my closets design process. I experienced multiple instances of disorganization, including design specifications and delayed responses. One of the staff designer had an abrupt and dismissive tone. She quoted me one price and then in the end charged me more than the original price she quoted, she argued loudly at me. I felt frustrated and lack of respect by all staff. I would love to have Cody install more projects for me as we need more work done, however, I can not deal with the staff. Our closets look beautiful because of Cody, we really were upset when the admin didn't send a helper to help him lift the heavy cabinets. He managed to do it all alone. If it wast for the admin I would give Cody 10 stars. He was very polite and very professional..

Worst experience def dont use them. They never showed up on the day installation was to occur and never called. I called the salesman, no answer and my call was not returned. I called the office and a call center person picked up and said they couldn't help and I would have to talk to someone else. No one called me back after wasting my entire day The next day, still no one called me. I had to call the office again and again I was told that they couldn't help me and the installation manager would have to call me. The installation manager, who is a complete idiot calls me and first tries to tell me that my installation date was may 14th instead of May 4th. My receipt shows May 4th, then she tried to tell me all theur systems went down and they lost all the installation dates, which is definately a lie. When I asked how I would be compensated for the complete waste of my time and waste of a day off work, they offered me a tie rack.....lol....I then told them to cancel my order and refund my deposit.....then the manager actually tried to yell and intimidate me saying that they would hold my deposit hostage if I cancelled the order. Cant believe they treat customers this way. Def stay away, there are a million places that make closets, try to find a company that can at least show up on the right day, if they cant even show up on the right day, what do you think your closet is going to end up looking like?

WORSE COMPANY EVER !!!!!! They mislead you into thinking your closet will look like the book when in reality that’s how they tell you ‘ “ Oh sorry that will cost More!!!!” I was taken advantage of as a senior citizen trusting these people when this has been the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Closet by design is not a group of honest individuals BEWARE I SUGGEST YOU GO TO CLOSET AMERICA WHER THE TRUTH WILL BE TOLD!!!!!!! You’re been warned watch out !!!!!

I bought a home that needed a new master closet. Closet by design came to my home and showed me a layout that I thought would work. We tweaked it a few times and she constantly went back to the original plans that she showed me. It was like they had one way of doing it and that’s the way it was going to be put in and there was no changing it even before it was built. We also wanted a wall unit built we were willing to pay for whatever it cost, and she just didn’t understand what we wanted. She kept going back to what she thought was best and it was not what we had wanted and not what was best for our space it was insane. It was the craziest thing she just didn’t listen to what we asked for now I’m sitting with the closet that is not functional. The shelves are all too short. I have no doors. The drawers are so cheap. It’s the worst company to deal with. My husband had to hire a contractor to come in and redo it. Even when I called her after it was installed to express my concern that it was not what I had ordered. She said oh well I thought that was what was best for the spade. It was so frustrating. It’s the worst company do not use them

After signing a contract and paying the down payment, I was informed the next day that the design we had agreed on was not doable. After considering the proposed changes (for which I never agreed on) I requested by email a cancellation of the contract. Since that request came one day after the cancellation time of 3 days they did not honor the cancellation request, but also deducted the second installment of the contract. Numerous phone calls and waiting times later, I am still waiting for the payment to be returned and have to involve an attorney at this point. I can not judge their craftsmanship but their business conduct renders their company untrustworthy if not criminal.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVERRRRR! Use California Closets. Do not use this company. They deceive you to try & get the sale the when you go with another company it took me almost 3 months to get my deposit back. Customer service is horrible. Check the reviews on Angie’s List & BBB first. The quality of work is not even as good as IKEA & they charge thousands. BEWARE!
