Closets By DesignReviews of closetsbydesign.com

From the designer Christina to the installer Izac this our second experience with CBD was exceptional. This time this included our Master BR Closet, our Office Closet and a Custom Desk/Vanity. It turned out better than we imagined. The whole project was done professionally and completed quickly. Highly recommend.

The installed, Jacob P, was very efficient. He did a great job installing and cleaning up. The closet design is exactly what I was expecting. Nice quality too.

Great experience from meeting with the designer through to installation and follow up from the office post the install. My designer was a great listener who asked great questions before she went into the design phase of her interview with me. Her resulting recommendations covered things I hadn’t considered and made the end product really work wonderfully for me. The install team was great, arriving on time, setting up and completing the job efficiently and leaving my house in perfect shape - real attention to detail. Unlike other companies, there was no ask for payment at the time of the install; rather the office calls you after several days, giving you the chance to see the storage pieces in action and ensure everything is working well, before you have payment due. What more could you ask for? Quality from start to finish.

My experience with Closet by Design Has been nothing but disappointing. If this review stops one person from buying from them, then I did my job Starting with the sales person not taking correct notes and measurements after spending 2 hours at my house to go over design. I explained in detail what I wanted fabricated and installed. When the installers came (BTW..James and Wolf were terrific) they set up the shelving which was completely wrong. This was not their fault..this i blame directly on the designer Kim. Their design created a shelf spacing issue where I now needed more shelves. I was told the cost for additional shelves was nearly $300 for 9 pieces 29w x12deep Although I didn't feel i should pay for their incompetence, I told Kim I would pay for them as I wanted to get this over with and have my closet completed. Kim then agreed to help me out and set up delivery of the shelves because of the inconvenience caused by Closets by design . She claims that she never offered me that and then renigged Kim then texted me that I need additional plastic corners ..3 pieces to be exact..for $100. At that point I was finished with Closet by Design..highway robbery I purchased the exact corners on line for $3.49 each I purchased the shelves at Home Depot ..size 72x12 and paid $20 ( I was able to cut all shelves for a total $110 They wanted to charge me $400 I ended paying $140 for everything I left messages with Jamie but no call back until I told Kim I was going to write a negative review By the time they called..my mind was already made up This review could have easily been avoided Buyer beware

Meek installed the closet. It's beautiful. He did a great job. He was very professional and got everything done in a timely manner. He is really great in getting the closet built. It has areas to hang clothes and shelves. We love it. I hope it gets a very good raise.

Great Experience and was very impressed with her ideas!!!

Takako was a pleasure to have in our home to explain the CBD process and to help us to understand our choices for optimizing the space in our sizable and brand new walk in closet. We also plan to have her help us to overhaul our old garage that is no longer used (we have built a new one as part of an addition). Takako was thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and most importantly considerate of our needs. She was tremendous and has a genuine zeal for helping people make the most of their home.

Excellent service Highly recommend. Especially Lorna great service 5 states
