I signed up for their dental and vision PPO plan and it was TRASH. They didn’t cover the compete cost of my vision exam and they absolutely lied about my dental coverage. It said I would receive the same coverage in and out of network. It also stated that routine exams were covered with no deductible. Went in for a routine cleaning and X-rays and Cigna paid $145 for a $505 bill. This plan cost me $50 a month and this is what I get? Don’t even bother with them. They are fraudulent. I canceled the plan immediately after this.

I contacted Cigna about my 1099-HC form and was told I would receive it within 5 business days. It has now been two weeks and I still have not received it. During my follow-up calls, the first representative’s voice was extremely unclear. After I mentioned it, the audio improved briefly, but I was then transferred to another representative whose voice was also unclear. Even after informing him, the issue was not resolved, and the call was disconnected without any information provided. I called again, and the audio quality was still very poor, making it difficult to understand the representative. This experience has been extremely frustrating.

How can Cigna be a reliable insurance company when I've only been able to get into my account few times before my actual insurance policy was activated. But now that my policy is activated I can't get on the app or website and I have tried all the things I could do to get on the app and website. How am I supposed make appointment if I can't see my cards. I'm about to ask for a refund and unregistered my account this is ridiculous!

2 script issues: my allergy doctor prescribed a name brand nasal spray for which there are generic brands of the med, but this brand has a unique delivery system that the generic versions don't offer and it allows the med to get deeper into the nasal passages which is what i need, Cigna repeatedly questioned whether I could use a different brand as if my doc doesn't know what she is doing, the second script is required in 90 day supply as per cigna and they want me to get it from their mail order, Express Scripts which is fine but they are more expensive than my local pharmacy. In late December we went back and forth, and then 2026 came and meant the start of the deductible again, they approved the latter script in january. When HR sends the annual survey out to the employees, I am recommending a switch.They are garbage.

If I could leave zero stars I would have done that. They are denying my care for a drug that I need to manage my type 2 diabetes. They are saying that my a1c is still too low for the medication despite the fact that I have been on this medication for the past 8 years. They are obviously a greedy and evil company with no sense of morals or compassion. If I had my way, I would do things to them that I cannot openly say on this review!

Just had my first experience with having Cigna insurance. I've had several different insurance plans over the last several years and this is a first. I received a letter 2 days after being discharged from the hospital that they approved the request for me to be treated. I've never experienced this before, normally the doctors determine your treatment and whether or not your admitted and treated, what tests need to be done etc. If they think people are supposed to call them before going to ER they've lost their minds. These companies are getting way too much control over our health. They're supposed to cover the bills not determine what's best for me. I won't be with them much longer and this will be a determine factor of whether I accept my next job. If Cigna is the Ins I won't work for them.

Application for Medigap has thus far taken 2 months without any communication other than my calling them every week and being told it's in process. In process? It's a guaranteed issue application! - No health questions. Why the delay and lack of service. They're terrible.
