Choice hotels is not to be trusted. We booked one room, and were charged for 2 rooms. When we called customer service, they gave us the run around. The hotel was called three times, and nothing could be done to change the reservation. We were charged for two rooms. When we got to the hotel, the extra room had been removed. So we weren't charged extra. I still do not appreciate the run around. Transferred to different departments with no verbal resolution. Very poor customer service. Travel is stressful enough. When you are on the road dealing with strangers you should be able to feel confident that you will not be cheated. This interaction ruined most of our day.

I booked a room and pre-paid to get the discount rate. I learned days later I was charged for 2 rooms. Calling the Choice Hotels website was a huge waste of time. After 2 calls sitting on a long time on both calls they finally told me they couldn't refund the extra charge and would notify upper management and I would hear back in 7 to 10 days. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. The hotel manager told me to never book through a 2nd party website. Book with the hotel directly. Lesson learned! Avoid choicehotels.com

Be careful if you book a room using choice privileges and cash. They will change the rate and charge your credit card before you arrive. They say free cancellation but that isn’t true. If you cancel before arrival even days before you will not receive the money back that they charged to your credit card.

I have been staying at the Allentown Park Hotel for several days and wanted to share my great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would like to give a big shout out to Cherie for keeping the breakfast area immaculate. Cherie is truly an asset to this organization.

We took a trip with a group of students to Rock Hill, SC. We had 6 rooms and were quoted a price to pay. A check was sent but did not arrive before we did, so we had to put it on a credit card. We noticed the price was double on the credit card. It was an invoice from Choice, which evidently was an incorrect price, but they would not honor the original invoice. We are very disappointed in Choice and the local hotel, and their unwillingness to honor the price given. You billed us for that amount, but you should not have changed it when it was your mistake.

Sleep Inn in Charleston, SC was the best place I've stayed in years. The rooms were big and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this motel.

never recommend people buying choice hotels. choice corporate people are not there to help at all. they just sit there and make money out of hotel owners and do scams . they just rob people thats all they know and charging so many fees and making fake policy and hotels owners has to pay for it and deal with it bull---

I have been calling Choice hotels to dispute negative charges from one of there hotels I kerp getting the dame female. and she keeps hanging up I asked for a supervisor she hung up poor communication, I believe shes related to the people from Rodeway Inn.
