Choice HotelsReviews of choicehotels.com

I wouldn't be suppressed with the bad reviews. I am choice member who stayed 16 nights in their hotels. They simply cheat their choice members. How could others expect anything when they cheat their own existing member customers.

I am really in rage because of the terrible customer service. We booked and payed our stay in two weeks from now at Quality Inn Bellevue back in January. Last Friday we received an E-Mail from choice hotels saying, that the Quality Inn is no longer part of the franchise and that they couldn't guarantee our reservation any longer. Even though we booked on the official website of choice hotel, they had no other proposed solution than contacting my bank institution and hoping for the best. All they could tell me was, that the hotel is really closed. We don't know who has our money now and have no clue if we will ever get it back.

Stayed at the Comfort Inn on Matheson Blvd twice before and is very good, perfect for one night and parking with an airport shuttle. Unfortunately this stay has started with a disaster, I called the ‘Choice Reservations’ and booked the hotel, reiterated that I needed parking for nine days and was reassured it was all included, paid $213.24, guy said he was saving me $13.00, arrived today to find that I have booked through a third party reservation company, no parking and had to pay another $160 for parking at the hotel, I fly at 6am tomorrow! Hotel said there’s nothing they can do and it happens all the time. I am so angry, my one night is now costing me almost $400. The company uses the logo and you’d never know. I will not stay here again, I am sure there is something they can do.

The location in Lakewood, is the worst. There is a person that works there, by the name of Leslie and there is a maid there, who steal and lie. Leslie and this maid stole my Tiffany's bracelet, some clothes, and money. Then made fun of my son and I for being homeless. She made us leave in the middle of a rainstorm, knowing we have car. I have contacted the corporate office and they do not care at all. If you stay, but I recommend you do not, lock up your valuables. Watch out for the maid as well. She claims to only speak and understand Spanish, but she knows English. DO NOT STAY! LESLIE AND THE MAID STEAL!!!!!!

My husband rented a room at Choice Hotels on two occasions when I wasn't with him. The credits never showed up on my account. I called and after waiting on hold was told that that person couldn't do anything but to call a different number that would be able to help. I was also told that they wanted to reward me for my time by having me stay on the line to get more points. I'd been suckered into that before and knew it is just a sales pitch. I called the other number and was again put on hold before finally being told that since room was in my husband's name Choice refuses to give us credit saying the reservation had to be in MY name. If that is the case why didn't either hotel tell him that at the time? I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told the answer would be the same. I asked for an email address for someone who could make a decision and was told no. She said my only option was the contact info on website. After finally finding a form that didn't require a confirmation code (didn't have one since was a walk-in situation) and spending even more time writing an explanation of the situation the form came back saying something had gone wrong and it wasn't submitted so that time was also totally wasted!! I tried replying to an email I had received from them but it came back that it is unmonitored and referred me back to the site that also went to LaLa Land. They obviously don't want any feedback.

I just stayed in the Econo Lodge in St Appolinaire Quebec and it was such a blessing and relaxing experience for me. After driving 10 hours from Niagara, I was greeted at the front desk by Alicia who was very helpful and professional. My room was clean, sheets crisp and everything was just at right. Later that night I slipped into the lobby bar for a beer and Alicia assisted with this also. Prices were very reasonable. Next morning the continental breakfast was great and checkout was seamless. Hotel price was very reasonable. 15 from Old Quebec City ( a must see,). Thank you to all. I'll stay here and recommend it to others.

The website is impossible to change or cancel a reservation. I'm sent to a link that says it has blocked content.

I recently booked a stay at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lewisburg, PA over the phone with Mattew from Choice Hotels, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. What was advertised as a economical getaway turned out to be a string of disappointments from start to finish. First and foremost, the booking process itself was misleading. On Google Hotel the fee of Quality Inn New Columbia-Lewisburg was $58.00 and Mattew said that he could keep this fee for Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lewisburg, PA. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to notice that the fee was $642.69. Mattew is unprofessional and seemed indifferent to guests' needs. Overall, my stay at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lewisburg, PA was a regrettable experience that I would not wish upon anyone else. I urge prospective guests to proceed with caution and consider alternative accommodations that value honesty and transparency.
