3 of my parcels were damaged from the US. Although they were able to compensate me, it took a while. One thing to note is that they send cheques in US dollars and not CAD with the compensations so another step to take. There are other alternatives in my opinion so take your time to look around before going with them.

Not a bad alternative to traditional services, and it is cheaper in many regards. It is intuitive and it was extremely helpful during the Canada Post strike. The problem happens when you have to file a claim. I sent a package for quickly delivery, it took a month for it to reach its destination, only after prodding from me. When it arrived at the apartment mailbox, it was cut open and the contents stolen. When I filed a claim with supporting documents, it was rejected with no explanation. A time sensitive package in limbo is reason enough to refund your customer, but one that's empty is a must refund. If it weren't for this incident, I would have given it a higher rating.

We started to use ChitChat since Canada Post went on strike. Parcel were delivered as scheduled, but nightmare arrived and chitchat is not helpful at all. I choose to ship the parcel by USPS to Germany on December 23, 2024 from Niagara Falls NY USA. It was first class priority. Parcel arrived-departed to -from Frankfurt on December 28 and on December 31 arrived to CHINA The parcel has 2 labels: one I printed and attached to the parcel and another label was created by USPS and attached to the parcel. What on Earth happened that the parcel send to Germany ended up in China. No ends. Chit Chat responded: Thank you for reaching out regarding the shipment with tracking number---------. Reach out to their local postal service in Germany with the tracking number for additional assistance in locating the shipment. We advise you to inform the recipient to contact the local postal service, as we do not have authorization to check on the matter, since they will require an identification card. It is ebay sale, most likely seeing the situation the buyer will tell that parcel was not delivered. I am loosing money. Do not recommend ChitChat as a service. NO MORE CHITCHAT

I’ve sent 5 parcels with this company, only 1 of them made it to destination. Impossible to reach the customer support, and when you do you get a million of different versions and no follow up of the complains. An absolute nightmare for a small business like me. I intend to sue them. If you wanna join forces don’t hesitate to reach me.

Je découvre le paquet le soir par hasard. La vidéosurveillance a été envoyée avec ma plainte. À suivre.

Forced to use ChitChats during the CP strike. Prices were decent, but not much better than Canada Post, and they charge a huge fee for pickup at your door. I sent 5 packages out and only 4 made it to their destinations. The one that was lost made it to the US but was never picked up by USPS probably because it was stolen, as I am certain packages aren't capable of disapearing without trace. I was shit out of luck as I didn't buy insurance for the package and they weren't able nor did they care to do anything about it. Closed my account immediatley after that.

Terrible shipping. He has been moving my package from warehouse to warehouse for 6 weeks in my area. I had to ask for a refund for my package because I still haven't received it and it was quite expensive. I will never buy anything else shipping with chit chat

They never delivered the parcel. When asked about it, they said they attempted to deliver but were unable to. This is impossible as I was home all day. When I followed up by phone, no one answered their “customer service” number, so I left a message - which was never returned. I reached out not once but four times by email, and never received a follow up email. As far as I can tell they made off with the parcel or they lost it. Either way, it’s been radio silence. Terrible service. Avoid at all costs. I only gave them one star because zero stars is not an option.
