On week 2 of feeding Wood Chi Dog food. My dog loves the food but never been a fussy eater. We’ll see how her body and weight improve at ten years old. So far good customer service on delivery and feedback from vet assistant.

Well when I got my dog started on Chi dog food she did well. She would get so excited when it was feeding time. She’s 13years old and has been diagnosed with an enlarged liver. Her appetite has changed.I do appreciate the customer care team so much. I certainly would recommend this food to anyone who cares about their dogs or cats.

I switched my two Maltese dogs several years ago to this food, specifically Fire diet and Water diet, due to both dogs having sensitive gut issues! They have never been so healthy! They also love the flavor! Customer service is also excellent! Highly recommend!

The fire diet is great but I find it a little dry.
Response from Chi DogJul 30, 2026
Hi, Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that your dog is enjoying the Fire Diet. We appreciate your note about the texture. Because our recipes are made with fresh, whole-food ingredients and contain no artificial fillers, texture can vary slightly between diets and batches. If you find the Fire Diet a bit dry, you might try mixing in a small amount of warm water before serving to add extra moisture and enhance the aroma. Thank you for choosing Chi Dog and for sharing your experience with us! The Chi Dog Team

I can’t really give this food a complete review as my dog, in renal failure, tried it and then politely declined. It seems like good, wholesome dog food, and arrived frozen. I think my dog not eating it was more a reflection of her failing health than on the food. She has gone to doggie heaven tonight, no more pain, and I am grateful that there are options like this for any pet owner trying to find help for their best friend. Thank you.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved dog. Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. While we're saddened to hear that she wasn't able to enjoy the food, we completely understand that her declining health was the greater challenge. It sounds like she was deeply loved and cared for, and it's clear that you did everything you could to support her and keep her comfortable. Saying goodbye to a cherished companion is never easy, but we hope there is some comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and free from pain. Thank you for giving our food a try and for your kind words about our mission. We are honored to have been considered as part of her care journey, and we wish you comfort and healing in the days ahead. The Chi Dog Team
