Chewy is a remarkable company! My 20 year old cat just passed away. She was receiving auto shipments of special prescription cat food from Chewy. When she passed away, I informed Chewy. They cancelled the auto shipments and told me that they would refund the price of my last order and to donate the remaining cans to an animal shelter, which I did. A few days later, I received a beautiful floral bouquet from Chewy in remembrance of the passing of my poor cat. I was so impressed by their kindness and compassion- such a beautiful gesture! I will continue to use Chewy for all the needs of my two dogs and remaining cat!

Chewy went from 5 stars to 1 all because ive promoted chewy for being honorable and after being with chewy for 5 years. They have made me a liar. I brought a dog bed, my dog did not like and because I used rewards to pay for greenies added to the purchase to cover the greenies which took only a dollar off the cost of the bed. They refused to give me my full refund minus a dollar for the bed. Their resolution was to give me a discount on my next purchase. Not cool. They are now no different then every other company to me. Your rep wouldn't give me my difference but will discount my next purchase. What!.. had not customer service chosen to discount me my difference instead of giving back, my rating would of never dropped. I preferred my money in full returned.

Yes, Chewy has great prices and fast delivery, but this is not what has and will keep me a loyal customer for as long as I have pets, which will be a long long time. What really sets them apart is their customer service. They have actual people answering calls without pushing you to a chat bot and treat me like a valued customer. And they consistently prove that they really do care. I recently called asking to return a bag of expensive kidney care food for my cat that passed. Not only did they credit my account and suggest I donate the food, a week later I received a hand written card and beautifully painted rock with my cat's name on it. What an extraordinary memento of beloved Bo! I will treasure this always.

Not only does Chewy have great products and pricing, but their customer service and customer appreciation are TOP NOTCH! Having to put my dog down after she was diagnosed with Lymphopenia was one of the most difficult things I've ever experienced in my 45 years alive, so receiving a vase of pretty flowers at my doorstep days after Chewy was notified really made my day. I don't know of any other corporation, especially as large as Chewy, that would do such an incredible thing.

Chewy customer service will say they will help with an issue and then do nothing. They pack boxes with litter togetherwith food and of course things get destroyed in shipping. When you ask for help they pass you to the next person. Typical rock bottom so just order with petsmart, at least they know how to pack a box.

I talked to a pharmacist at Chewy & was told that they did not know the country of origin for their prescriptions & I needed to contact Dechra to find out. I researched Dechra online & tried to communicate with them. No luck or answers! BUYER BEWARE: It has been my experience that when you hit repeated stone walls about country of origin THAT THEY ARE HIDING THAT IT WAS POSSIBLY MANUFACTURED OR THE INGREDIENTS ARE FROM CHINA!
