I was only able to get one of my dogs certified which is making it difficult to find a place to live.

While I got what I needed, I was belittled and had quite wild accusations leveled at me by the provider who did my screening. There was absolutely nothing therapeutic about the way he handled the conversation. He accused me of drug diverting, being addicted to alcohol and prescription medication—because I answered honestly that I do drink excessively (4+ standard drinks in 24 hours) approximately four times a year. I am appalled by this as a healthcare provider and as a patient/client. Even if these accusations were true, the way he addressed them was not productive in any way/shape/form. When I was asked for my feedback I recommended that the practitioner take a course on therapeutic communication. I’m told the clinical director is “handling it”— I have no idea what that entails. Next time I will likely utilize a different company, particularly if this provider remains assigned to me.

First off I would like to thank CertaPet and Hillary Shluker for their continuous effort and help throughout my process. I initially purchased the ESA Housing Letter months ago previously to using it in an effort to have as a "just in case" scenario. Months later I used the letter and I dealt with a lot of difficulty with using it. My initial therpaist I was referred to hurt me significantly and I didn't know what to do in the process. CertaPet's call center was incredibly helpful and thorough. Each person I spoke to was very knowledgeable in my dilemma and eager to help me through it. I was without my dog for a couple weeks and it was very stressful. However, through multiple phone calls and advice, they helped me through it. Hillary Shluker was also very helpful and a huge contribution to my ESA Housing Letter's success. She reached out to me first to inquire on my unique situation. She spoke to me and walked me through the steps I needed to take to make sure my ESA could live with me. We had three sessions over the phone and wrote me a personalized ESA Letter on her own time (all within the initial fee months ago). She was then very helpful with my apartment complex and completed all documentation in a very timely manner. I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with the parties listed above. The process is scary and displeasing, however they made my situation much better. Thank you Hillary and CertaPet for the continuous help. I never write reviews, but this had to be said.

Certapet is amazing! I could not have asked for an easier, quicker service. I was approved for the initial assessment, and I was then assigned to a therapist within the hour. This landed on a Friday but my therapist called first thing on Monday at 9AM PST. After speaking to her for 10 minutes, I was approved and my travel letter was emailed in seconds. I did however relay to my therapist that American Airlines only accepts their standard forms (rather than a letter). NOTE: Certapet will charge an additional fee for this. I let her know I was flying by next week and she filled out the form so quickly, within 30 minutes. I have been approved by the airline and I am ready to fly with my dog. THANK YOU, CERTAPET! You guys are truly the best!!!

I have dealt with major anxiety the last year and knew I needed to get a ESA to help deal with it. After reading reviews and having my anxiety spike with every negative experience, I went with Certapet praying it would go smoothly. The process was easy and my therapist was so caring. She was located in the state in which I am located and on top of approving my ESA, I felt so comfortable with her that know I will be seeing her once or twice a month to help with my anxiety. I want to thank Certapet for creating an easy process in which you help people get the help they need.

Ordered the Vest & ID card in November and still havent received it. Had to write them 5 times, each time the submit a request to have it re-send. They dont allow you get your money back either....

Professional and quick. Involves filling out an online questionnaire (quite involved) plus a phone interview with a therapist, but I received the certificate only a few days after applying.
