Hi...My daughters job was transferring her to Ireland to work for 6 months and she didn’t want to leave me alone in the house by myself so we went looking for a little dog. We went to this pet store (which we later found out was a puppy mill)...but we were looking in the cages and we saw Cassie that’s the name I gave her sitting all the way in the back in the cage just looking and so quiet. We asked to see her and they took her out of the cage she was five months old and her hair was matted we asked how much 1500.00 but you can have her for $300.00. The girl said she would bath her and brush her out, Cassie is a Shih poo, but when we came to pick her up Cassie she wasn’t ready but we took her anyway and took her to a groomer who had to shave all her hair off because to comb her would hurt. I took her to the vet to start her shots. Well 2 years later the owners were selling the house I was living in so I had to move. I found an apartment in the senior complex but the week I was to move in my husband passed. When I finally moved in the apartment I later found out no dogs are allowed I was crushed... I couldn’t let Cassie go and I promised them in the office I would keep her quiet, walk and pick up after her but they said no.. I couldn’t breath. I ask the people in the office what I’m I to do the woman said give her a way or I would have to leave.. I was devastated. I spoke to a woman I know and told her what was happening she told me about you.. Certapet.com. I spoke to a caring psychologist and she was so patient and caring helped me. It took 3 months for the complex to approve of Cassie with the help of the letter. Now her name is on the lease.🥳. To lose you mate and dog at the same time, can’t be put into words. Thank you guys SO much. I tell everyone about you when the people say “your allowed to have a dog I say yes ... Cassie is a emotional support dog so if you want a dog if you need help go to Cerapet.com 😊 Thanks again Karen 😘

Don’t Recommend. A lot of airlines don’t accept these letters and if they do (like in the case of aircanada) there’s another form that has to be filled out which they charge extra for. If the letter isn’t accepted or there’s an issue with the letters CertaPet doesn’t make any effort to assist or provide refunds. They send you to plead with the therapist instead. In my case, I requested a refund or partial refund as my letter wasn’t going to be accepted and my “counsellor” was unsympathetic and unreasonable regarding my situation and suggested that I find an airline that would take my letter (even though I had already booked my flight). She wasn’t interested in helping after she was paid. I did some research after the fact on her and her “clinic” and it looked like a sham on top of that. There was no info on her “website,” payment was to be taken by e-transfer, and there was no info about her practice on her clinics Facebook page despite claims that her business has been operating for 7 years The license she seems to have is registered with a club instead of a medical board — though a lawyer friend of mine is doing a little digging to find out exactly the nature of her license and this association she’s registered with. Overall, don’t waste your time or money on these letters because you won’t get your money back.

It sounded so great from all the people telling me to get this for me and my dog saying it should take only 48 hours to be contacted it took over 48 hours for me to be contacted, I had to call an agent from certapet and tell them to find me someone, because no one contacted me, it was ridiculous. I had to get my full refund back because they took too long, (I'm grateful for my money back but that's it) I 100% don't recommend them.
