I recently had to change insurance companies and for online prescriptions I now need to use Centerwell. I have had nothing but issues while trying to get my prescriptions filled. I never had a problem with OptumRx. Almost 2 weeks of this issue and that issue. If using Humana, I recommend using a local pharmacy not Centerwell. Good luck to anyone using Centerwell!!

Horrible Customer Service – Medication Safety Issue I received my Xultophy delivery from CenterWell Pharmacy two days ago. Unfortunately, the package was not refrigerated upon receipt and was left unrefrigerated for approximately two days. When the package was finally opened, the ice packs were melted but still cool. Given that this is a temperature-sensitive medication, I contacted CenterWell Pharmacy to ask whether the medication was still safe to use or if a replacement was needed. After more than two days and over two hours total on the phone, being transferred repeatedly and speaking with multiple representatives who struggled to communicate in English, I was never given a clear answer. I ultimately had to contact the manufacturer myself to get guidance. The customer service was unacceptable. Representatives appeared to be reading from scripts and were clearly not trained to handle medication safety concerns. Because of this experience, I will not be renewing my prescription plan with Humana. Never again.

The website is a mess and makes using CENTERWELL a very unattractive alternative. I recently moved all my prescriptions to CENTERWELL and am sorry I did.

i am new with humana and centerwell is their mail in pharmacy. i recommend do not use them. it takes forever to gets your medications. i am still waiting on mine and i am out of medications. i called and ask for a supervisor. they said i did not need to talk to a supervisor because they would tell me the same thing. just really rude. they could care less if i am out of medication. they have been filling it for 4 days now. they keep telling me there is a process. i have never had this problem when i was with united healthcare they us OptumRx. when my doctor sent my prescriptions i got my meds within 3 days. dont dont dont use centerwell. i would rate them a negative 100. still waiting. my local pharmacy did fill a lot of my meds so i may just stay with sunflower.

While I am happy with the mail part of the pharmacy I am extremely dissatisfied with the arrogance of the customer service staff. The person with whom I was speaking asked me if I “know what insurance is”. As he knew my age (clearly an adult with Medicare insurance) I found that question to be demeaning and rude. And then I was told that I could not speak with a supervisor as they were all either at lunch or in a meeting. When I asked what time they would be available I was told he couldn’t tell me. I asked when I should call back and he said he didn’t know but I could try in 10 minutes.

Stuck with no Rx's. They are playing with people's health by lying and not shipping meds in a timely matter*not suret here really is a pharmacy). The overseas call center is as incompetent as the horrible pharmacy. F---. Pay more and go somewhere else.

What a colossal waste of time. Humana is even worse. Humana consistently denies claims for common meds.

I chose Humana for 2026; bad decision I’m realizing now. I thought I would go with the mail order pharmacy Centerwell to avoid the copay for tier 2 drugs since it would be no copay. However, I’ve been trying to get my 10 meds transferred since December. They called me initially and obtained names of all my prescriptions. I called them the end of December they say I have no prescriptions on file, but that i could go to the Centerwell website and activate my account and that I could add them myself, which I did. I called to confirm they received them, to find out they are not in their system. I am totally frustrated and will continue with my local pharmacist and pay the copays. Centerwell is a complete joke. It’s a scam. Humana entice you with the no copays for tier 2 drugs if you use Centerwell, however, there are so many issues with their system, you give up. I’m going back to United Healthcare next year or sooner if I can.
