Bad customer service and misleading product advertisement on website. They allowed me to ordered an expensive item online that showed as available which I was later told in an unhelpful manner was no longer available in any of their warehouses.

I've been trying to return a…
I've been trying to return a poor-quality product for weeks. It's a chair so uncomfortable, I'm amazed they sell it.
My repeated emails to customer service have been completely ignored. I've been waiting over a week for a response. Yes, I checked my spam folder.
I'd much rather email customer service than call. Which brings me to my next point.
Calling CB2 is incredibly painful. If your experience is like mine, expect to wait at least 10 minutes to speak to someone.
After finally getting ahold of someone in customer service, they scheduled a FedEx pickup for Monday. I received a confirmation email from a FedEx.com.
I wasted another 30+ minutes on the phone with CB2 customer service. They told me that "FedEx doesn't pick up for CB2 on Mondays" – What? Then how did a pickup get scheduled on a Monday?
Now the pick is scheduled for Wednesday. Will FedEx show up? I don't know.

I was in tears from dealing with this…
I was in tears from dealing with this place. Our bed was back ordered 2.5 months. It was originally 6 weeks but kept getting delayed - they wouldn't notify us or anything, we'd just find out on the website that it was getting back ordered later and later.
Finally, we got a delivery date set. I confirmed the delivery three different ways so I was feeling pretty good that I would be the first person who had a good experience with this company. Oh, how wrong I was.
Come to the day of the delivery, I'm nearing the last 30 minutes of my 2 hour window when I get a phone call that the delivery men are outside my house. I go outside, nothing. I wait 5 minutes thinking they were just telling me that so I could be ready, nothing. 20 minutes passes and I try calling them back just to ask what is going on? It took me another 15 minutes to get through to customer service.
After 55 minutes on the phone, we come to realize that they went to the complete wrong address. So, they were actually there, just on the wrong street. They took pictures noting that "customer was not there" - which of course show the correct house number, but aren't my house because IT'S A DIFFERENT STREET. After getting absolutely heated because they said "sorry there's nothing we can do to deliver this today anymore" even though THEIR DELIVERY DRIVERS WENT TO THE COMPLETE WRONG ADDRESS, I ended up just cancelling my order. Three months later and now I still don't have a bed.
TBD on how fast my refund goes through. This should be hilarious.

Not flawless, but resolved well
My experience with CB2 wasn't flawless, but in the end everything worked out. I purchased 32 pieces of dinner settings (plates, bowls, mugs etc). Initially, they sent out only 1 piece from the order, the rest were still processing, which I found odd. Eventually, I started to contact customer service because it shouldn't take long to process. I had some delays in getting email responses, so I ended up calling them. The first call went fine, she said she would tell the warehouse to push the order out. After a few more days with no progress, I called again- this time, he changed warehouses, and upgraded me to expedited shipping free of charge. Everything went fine, the items finally shipped.
When I got the items, I knew something was wrong immediately- the box was absolutely smashed on my porch. The items were not packed well, and I found two plates shattered. I contacted customer service, and they put two replacement plates on expedited shipping, no questions asked. I later found a hairline fracture in another plate, obviously something I missed the first time around, and once more they sent a replacement.
To summarize, there were definitely issues caused by CB2, but they were very helpful to resolve all of the issues quickly. This experience definitely won't stop me from ordering again- the end products were well worth it.

Terrible service
Poorly managed - they should close down their store!
We ordered items from their email advertisement. The 2 outdoor lounge chairs and birdbath were both advertised to us in the email. So we go to the store and buy them. They don't have them in stock. we get them months later, and the birdbath is now delayed to end of summer when I no longer can use it. this is ridiculous. They don't even feel bad about it or apologize. There is an automated email letting me know I won't get my item that I've already paid for, again! Poorly managed.

I actually found this review site AFTER…
I actually found this review site AFTER I had ordered a table online from CB2 - and was extremely worried that I would have a bad experience like others have expressed. However, even though my table came in a little later than promised - it was the correct product and in good shape. I love my new table. Don't let all the negative reviews deter you from ordering from CB2. As you probably know - people usually just do these reviews when they're upset, not when they're satisfied. I just wanted to put my two cents in to help balance out the negative reviews.

Beware
Beware! Absolute WORST customer experience ever! Ordered the Ditto II sectional sofa and patiently awaited delivery. When it finally came, the order was wrong. They sent me two left arm sofas, versus a sofa and chaise.
When the delivery men opened it in my apartment (scratching my hardwood floor in the process), and we realized it was wrong, they wouldn’t take it back and told me they weren’t permitted to do that, and that they had to leave it with me as a “loaner.” I explained I clearly didn’t need a loaner as still had a sofa in that space, but they still did not take it with them.
Then, I called CB2 that day (6/14/19) at 2:04 pm CT to tell them what happened and that I wanted it out of my apartment. I have a small one-bedroom space now occupied with three sofas! The customer service woman said the earliest they could come get it was on June 28! And, she sent me a $50 gift card assuming that would ease my frustration.
I never received a confirmation that they were picking it up, so I called back again today (6/21/19 at 11:56 am CT, and they called me back at 12:15 pm CT), spoke with Heidi in customer service who, after I asked to speak with a manager and she said the manager is out of the office, transferred me to Karen in problem resolution. I was told that they had NO RECORD of my phone call on 6/14!!! And, now the earliest they can come is in July!!
I explained to Karen that they are causing me to LOSE money since I often rent my space on Airbnb and cannot do that with my apartment in this state! And, CB2 still has my $2,000 that I want refunded after they pick up the sofas! So, essentially, they are making money while I am losing money and there’s absolutely nothing I can do.
And, I am also expecting company as well and embarrassed at what my apartment looks like right now.
I even offered to ship it myself to their freaking warehouse, but of course they won’t allow that to happen.
This is UNACCEPTABLE!
This was my first experience with CB2 and will certainly be my last once this is resolved. I will NEVER shop there again – EVER.
I wish I saw their HORRENDOUS reviews before I made this purchase!

Don't bother...
This has been the single worst retail experience that I've ever had in my life.
I ordered a couch and chair from CB2 in October of 2018 for my new apartment, spending over $1,500. Unsurprisingly, everything was back-ordered despite being listed as available for delivery. I specifically chose these items because they were among the few that weren't back-ordered. Alas, we sat on fold-out Ikea chairs for over a month while we waited.
Finally, delivery day came around. The guys showed up hours late - a weekend day wasted. What was worse, the chair that we ordered was completely defective - leather was warped (looked awful), stained, and scratched. How that chair even made it onto the truck was beyond me. The delivery guys took some photos and told me to request a replacement.
Requested a replacement - was told that the chair was now back-ordered again - UNTIL MARCH 2019(!!). Four months went by and March arrived, nothing from CB2. Three more months went by - it's now June of 2019. I emailed them to see what could possibly be going on - and my chair was finally available again - how exciting! And they carved out a delivery window just one week away, which was great.
Delivery day #2 rolled around, delivery guys were on time - brought the chair down - IT WAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CHAIR.
I refused delivery, and have gone back and forth with them no less than 20 times since then. They offered to schedule another delivery, but rather than waste another Saturday I said we'd just keep the chair and ask for some sort of refund. They refunded my shipping cost (are you kidding me?), then gave me a $200 gift card (also a slap in the face - it was a $650 chair), and finally offered a full refund, which they didn't mention was coming as a gift card. Time for the icing on the cake - the gift card was shipped to a totally different address (!!), and I haven't received the shipping fee refund. Someone just emailed me to see when they could come pick the chair up - I'm at a complete loss for words. It is truly unbelievable that they can treat their customers, who spend thousands of dollars for mediocre, albeit stylish, furniture so poorly. I wish there was some way to sort this out, but every time I email them somebody completely different replies who doesn't seem to have read the 20+ email long thread, and we're getting nowhere.
