Competitive upfront price but ended up costing double. Excess was £2500 plus required a security deposit of £2500. Mileage restricted to 100 miles per day. First Easyjet sell AXA insurance policy to hopefully reimburse excess then Green Motion charge to reduce security deposit to use debit card.
Had to take shuttle bus to off airport portaloo, half a dozen staff but only 1 serving so delayed. Booked a Mercedes C class or similar, given a Kia. Queried saying advertised a premium brand but told it was similar and if didn’t want then that’s up to me. Staff quick to point at small print. No phone number for Easyjet assistance, just a useless web bot. Car covered in snow so impossible to check previous damage.

Shocking car quality
Shocking car quality, with the cost of the hire 4 x the value of the car provided. Poor quality and dangerous and Easyjet and partners (cartrawler and green motion) take no responsibility. DO NOT USE!

Awful, Do NOT waste your time
I wish I had read these reviews before booking a car with Easyjet.
I arrived at the airport to pick up the car. The company that was due to meet us, did not show up. We called them 8 times, sent them a text, waited for an hour. Eventually, we got a taxi to our accommodation.
We contacted Easyjet via chat. They advised us to raise a Claim which we did. We received an email advising us that they would respond within 20 days. It has been over a month and we have yet to receive a response!

Easyjet Car hire scam
I booked and prepaid for a car hire in Edinburgh. When I went to the Europcar desk they had my booking but told me there was a problem with my booking on their system which they could not resolve as it was Sunday and their main office was closed. They told me I had to ask Easyjet/Car trawler for the refund. I had to pay for another rental with Avis/Budget.
When I contacted Easyjet Car rental they have come up with a story about the name on my booking being different from the name on my drivers licence. Nothing to do with the reason given by Europcar. The difference is I did not use my middle name on the booking form. I have an account with Europcar and have rented many times from them without a problem.
I will not let this go and if anyone else would like to join me in chasing down Easyjet (there seems to be a lot of these scam reasons given for not refunding pre-payments when the rental doesnt happen) please let me know as I will engage legal advice to try and recover my money from the scammers.

DO NOT RENT A CAR WITH THEM. IT IS A SCAM.
I have rent a car in croatia with easyjet site. Someone called me saying there isn't a car and I went to the rental car desk and the women said there is no car available. I sent an email to easyjet and nothing was done and there are claiming that I didn't show up to collect the car. They don't have proof and don't want see my proof.

Do not Hire a car via Easyjet car rental poor service
Hired a car via Easyjet car rental for Jordan as wrongly thought companies were the same, as in the name, therefore would get a reliable service protection etc. Easyjet Airline changed arrival time to Aqaba. I asked EasyJet car rentals to inform Arena Cars in Jordan via their chat line. They said it was up to me to do this, ring Jordan or else we could lose the car and fee if we arrived late. Kept quoting T & Cs back to me said they were not connected to the Airline just use their name. Very unhelpful, just take your money with no aftercare service. Arrived in Aqaba, Jordan could not find rental desk any where, eventually found Arena Cars operating out of a boot of the car, which became our car, then they moved on to another car boot calling it their new office in the Airport car park. Unable to clearly check the full condition of the car due to poor light, just had to accept the paperwork at the time of collection on condition. Next day the Car had more damage than apparent at time of collection with scratches dents broken tail light. luckily we didn’t have any mechanical problems on the holiday, as not confident any help would have been forthcoming. Next day we went to a tyre shop/ garage as some thing felt not right with the handling of the car. Locals were very friendly and helpful, great country to visit by the way. Tyre pressures were all over the place. The garage said they were very dangerous at speeds over 50 km p/h, could have easily lost control as roads not at all brilliant to some parts and the garage made adjustments for free. Told me to check pressures every few days to be safe. Luckily I had not started the long journey to Amman with dodgy tyres. After a week we returned car, no one at they Airport to collect car, even though we sent them a What’s App message, which they read of the arrival time. Of course had no reply. Eventually an old man came over told us to speak to the Avis rep, who would take the car off us on behalf of Arena Cars. Avis telephoned Arena cars and they said to leave car keys with them. We had to inform other Families of what to do as they were waiting like us. Avis did the check on condition and handed me the original form back saying all done fine no problem, so we took pictures. It wasn’t even their car how does that work!!!. Very poor Service, recommend that for car rental in Jordan book direct with reputable Agencies such as Dollar, Hertz etc who have actual Rental offices/ desks at the Airport. Great holiday but car rental experience was one of the weird experiences of lack of any customer service for car hire. We hope they don’t start adding stupid charges as Arena Cars were not even at the Airport for the return of the car, we ended up giving the more fuel as well which is annoying. Never had such poor service and we should have cancelled with Easyjet car rentals and gone with Europe Car which were more expensive, but we have used them in the past, thought by using Easy jet would have had some continuity of reliable service and the Easyjet car rental company would have checked who they deal with in Jordan. Obviously they don’t care about their customers, just take the money.

Pointless paying for overhead storage
I returned from Hurghada yesterday and my only complaint with easyJet is having paid for an upfront seat with overhead luggage for myself and 8 other family members. I had to store most of my cases half way down the plane because people were storing anything and everything overhead instead of under their seats. For me it defeated the reason for paying the extra money. We had to wait for the passenger's to get off before we could retrieve our cases.
