I work in aviation and I can not tell you how terrible this airline is ! Delayed "27hrs" no information Bags lost. No one takes any responsibility for anything, trys to blame everyone and anything else. Give out dangerous information like "your bags travel with the flight" huge security risk saying this .

The worse service I have EVER experienced in my life! Booked and seemed good...was around £60 for the car and then paid additional insurance on top of £37 JUST so no excess would be taken. Arrived at 12.10am AFTER easy jet delayed our flight. We were told no car if no excess paid of 1,000 euros! It was so late and we needed to drive for nearly 2 hours so I had to do it. Easy jet would no answer to discuss it at that time and it was their fault we were so late. We were then told the car we booked was no available so paid another 10 euros with an airport charge of 8 euros and a late collection (by 10 mins due to their delayed flight) of another 37 odd euros! So we drive off...enjoy 2 days hire which was already doubled nearly and then return...fill the car to the BRIM at the airport just so it was full only to then have another £21 taken for fuel!!!!!!!!!! Ive emailed easy jet and had lots of replies but they refuse to take any responsibility for it and said I need to contact the Spanish hire company who hardly spoke any English as it is. In total what started at only £97 turned into over £180 and 5 days waiting for the 1000 euros to return. Absolutely shocking that they seem to be getting away with ripping people off time after time!

DO NOT pre book a car with easy jet , they find any reason they can not to rent the CHEAP car to you and you lose your money , you have no choice but rent from another company and end up paying twice

Absolutely terrible company and will never fly with again. Flight said it was delayed on the board and went to the gate for information to be told that the flight had already left even though on the board and easy jet app still said it was 2hrs delayed. Easy jet staff at the airport were extremely rude and unhelpful so then decided to phone easy jet customer services to get advice and the person on the phone was very unhelpful and ignorant. We tried to get advice and they couldn’t answer any of our questions And have been now stuck at the airport for 14 hours with no help from anyone. Would not recommend this company

My Alicante to Manchester EasyJet flight was 2hrs 50 minutes late, 21.45 was the original departure time (ie deliberately kept at < 3 hours late to avoid compensation payments). This is because the plane had actually landed at Alicante with flight crew) on time, but was then sent to Gatwick instead. This resulted in another replacement plane being sent out, resulting in me landing in the middle of the night at 01.30am at Manchester. No apologies either at the airport or on the plane were given. A free drink at least on the plane would have been appreciated. There were no trains, buses and almost no taxis at Mcr airport at 2 am. (I am 74). Reluctantly, I’ll be using Ryanair from now on again to get to and from Alicante - Manchester.

Car hire Malaga airport. Firefly car hire booked through easyjet. Firstly, the car hire process was easy and simple and the car I hired was clean, drove well, and was what we asked for. Hence 2 stars. My complaint is the mis-sold additional products, namely something called the SCDWK. And when I co.plained to easyjet they advised me that as I had signed the agreement the there is nothing they can do and the dispute is between myself and firefly. So not very helpful considering they are selling the car hire, all be it as a third party. And as you will see, it relates to products, namely additional insurance, which I purchased with easyjet but was charged again for by firefly. So my experience and complaint. At the time of picking up the car I upgraded my vehicle at a reasonable cost of €5 a day. As I had already paid the original full rental cost plus additional insurance cover when I booked it through easyjet, I was advised that I would be charged an extra €50 (10 days at €5 for the upgrade) and an additional €189.60 to be held on my card which will be refunded when I return the vehicle. So I thought nothing more of this. Until I return home and found I had charged a total of €308.66 on my card. When reviewing my agreement I realised this was for the upgrade charge, the SCDWK, something called an APT charge and 21% VAT (again, looking back this was not clear that the prices quoted did not included VAT). I can live with the VAT but the SCDWK is a charge that I contest is a product that I was mis-sold at the time of transaction. After complaining to both firefly and to easyjet, the response I have received is that as I signed the contract, I have agreed to the terms and the products added on. No recognition that I have said I was mis-sold the product. It was only when I googled the SCDWK charge that I realised it was an additional excess insurance cover. So this is even more frustrating because like I said earlier, I had already paid for a similar product through easyjet. My only conclusion is that the representatives at the firefly hire office take advantage of travel weary tourists (we had been up since 2am with 2 young children travelling) and that tourists don't fully understand all the product add ons. They are also probably on commision to sell these additional products without any fear that it will be questioned once the agreement is signed. I will not use them again. Advise anyone booking to check and question all the charges if they do use firefly, or just use another company with a better track record and better reviews. I wish I had done my research but I assumed going through easyjet, who I've never had issues with before, my experience would be better.
