DO NOT HIRE CARS THROUGH EASYJET!! EasyJet Car Hire is NOT a Hire Car service... It’s an expensive 'doorway' to other Car Rental service providers, who will lie and cheat you out of your hard eared money on their own terms, preventing you from collecting the vehicle unless you agree to their terms. Think EasyJet will protect you? Big-brand name, right? WRONG! Complaints aren’t handled by EasyJet… but through their 3rd Party, CarTrawler, who do not make any effort push back against unfair charges, preferring to hide behind the fact ‘they weren’t at the desk when you took to car’ and siding with their car hire partners You aren’t getting a refund from anyone.

Fraud! I booked a vehicle from Malaga airport via a link to my flight on the Easyjet website, which was prompted to me from my flight booking. The link provided the wrong arrival collection details - the time of take off, not landing and so nothing like the probable collection time. Their system then cancelled my car booking after just 1 hour – yes just 1 hour which of course would be very difficult to achieve at best given bag collection and custom security can take at least this long - let alone waiting for the courier courtesy bus as the collection desk is off site. And this of course, assumes the flight is on time. There was no other car available either. While the Manager at Enterprise on site even did provide me with an authorisation for a refund, which the Enterprise provider was refusing when we spoke with them by phone at the time {plus the contact ‘manager’ at ET Car Hire London wouldn’t even give me her surname). The Manager letter is available: Maria Rosique on 21st September 2023 who herself was appalled with their system. I’m trying to get a full refund, if not further compensation for the distress and lost time this caused, as I was on my way to my son’s wedding. I am very worried this will be a very difficult.

Deserves a 0 star!! I booked this along with a flight booking with Easy Jet. Easy Jet delayed the boarding of the flight and when we arrived at the airport, there was no one at the hire car desk as they’d closed. Apparently this is considered a no show and they keep your money, leaving you without a car. Absolutely terrible!

My booking was not fulfilled at belfast International Airport due to my easyjet flight being 30 minutes late, the phone number giving to contact was tried multiple times with no answer We went to another car hire desk and was informed by the staff there that this happens on a regular basis and people are left to organise other means of onward travel. I had to use another car hire company and have since been told by easyhire that I am not entitled to a refund as I was late for my pickup time by 30 minutes Stay away from this scam company ,absolutely atrocious that the can leave people stranded in a strange place, I wish I could give them 0 stars

In preparation for a holiday in Sardinia I booked car hire with EasyJet for a pickup at Olbia airport. Paperwork arrived, which I was instructed to take to the Target Hire desk in the terminal. On arrival and after asking several other operators I was told Target do not operate at Olbia. A series of phone calls later I was told to go to the AutoSystems desk on the other side of the terminal. Here I met other angry EasyJet customers. In fairness to AutoSystems they were professional and helpful, and I did eventually get a car. On return to the UK I complained to EasyJet who so far have been anything but helpful. I was given a case number and eventually received an email requesting all manner of information regarding my flight to Olbia including original boarding passes. No mention of car hire. Attempts to respond to the email are pointless as the address does not accept incoming mail. DO NOT USE EASYJET FOR CARHIRE

Dont ever rent a car at Easyjet / Care Easyjet or travle car, they ruin the hole rental and it will cost you more than x 2 what you alredy have payed..

Same bad procedure as for many others😡😡😡😡we had a car, already paied for. We we late and came after midnigth. Next morning tried to pick up the car, but were told that there was NO car at all…. When you are late we think they sell the car a second time. Frist and last time for us. WARNING - never go with them..!!!!😡😡

I have just been cheated for €300 by EasyJet. We arrived 2.5 hour late 0200 am last night given EasyJet delay. Now this morning our rental car booking has been automatically cancelled with no refund since we did not collect car “ on time”. It really is outrageous!
