I’d give this 0 stars if I could. Lots of hiccups on this pricey trip. Room did not have a queen size bed. Supposedly there was nothing they could do, so me and my husband slept apart all week. Banging noise my last 2 nights could not sleep whatsoever and was told nothing they could do. Basically too bad. I’ll never cruise with this ship again. I’ll let all family and friends know!

We made the mistake of booking on the Carnival Luminosa ( the SORRY ship ) 1. 3 1/2 hours to board ( SORRY ) Technical problems 2. dininf our time was their time 20 minutes to 90 minute wait to be seated. 3.Items i pre ordered ( SORRY ) not available 4. SORRY no breakfast on room service 5. Ice crean machine in rear of boat ( SORRY ) will fix soon 17 days later still broken 6. Decaf coffe at omelette station ( SORRY ) will fix soon 17 days later still broken 7. Main showroom show deal or no deal 2 minutes before show yes you guessed it SORRY technical problens no show 8.ATM ( SORRY ) problems will only give Australian money. 9.the food in main dining room was awaful always overcooked and barely warm.I paid 27 dollars extra for steak from the staek houes made sure i said medium rare to rare it was very very dry and overcooked beyond belief, I refused to take it agaiN SORRY, 10. worst buffet on any ship. After 9 pm only food available was pizza and that was tatseless 11. two days in a row we were at the pool foe three hours and not one drink person came by to take orders. 12. ordered Baileys Irish cream SORRY not available BUT THEY SOLD IT IN THE DUTY FREE SHOP. ordered a martini SOORY no olives. It amazes me all the technical problems where it was included but in the casino,the picture shop, the duty free shop, the specialty coffee shop, the excursions ALL WHERE YOU PAY NO PROBLEMS !!!! We got off 5 days early in Hawaii and flew home from there with many many other passengers who also had had enough. when i complained to the customer service at corporate they could care less.

We, myself(single),daughter and fiancee (double) had 2 rooms booked. My cousin and husband another cabin. We were booked on an Alaskan trip for June 12th. Full payment made. My cousins husband is in the hospital it's been 2 months for heart issues. We had to cancel as It was a family trip. The cancellation fee for the 2 rooms was $900.00 each. To reschedule until next year was over $1200 for the double room and $1400 for the single. This was in addition to what was already paid in full. However, my cousin was only charged $150.00 for changing until next year. No one had cancellation insurance. When I asked why, I was told "they must have some sort of promotion.". My cousin didn't know of any. I still don't understand why a single room is more expensive than a double, and rebooking is more. I think others should be aware of the discrepancy in rebooking/cancellation policies and costs involved.

My family of six booked three rooms. We received confirmation for each member of our family and paid in full at the time of booking. At some point my booking was removed by the cruiseline. Customer service gave several different and inaccurate reasons how my booking was canceled. We were told we be refunded 100 dollars. I took vacation time from work for this trip only to have my booking randomly canceled. Horrible experience and customer service. I was told so many lies regarding how my booking was canceled.

Had a terrible experience - the food is abysmal (and the coffee is worse), the entertainment is 2-star (at best), they are constantly trying to upsell you at every turn, and they do not advertise their policies in advance (so, if you buy a bottle of alcohol to take home in a port, they confiscate it until the end of your cruise (but they let you drink your brains out on the ship as long as it's their alcohol and they seemingly allow pot to be taken onboard, just not alcohol). If you've always wanted to travel with 3000+ rude Americans while being served subpar food and liquor on ultra-touristy and not particularly interesting excursions, then please sign up. Otherwise, stay away.

The ship is dirty old and wore out. The rooms are filthy. The heater in my cabin broke while we were in Alaska my wife and I ended up sick. I would never recommend carnival to anyone to sale on their ship. They claim the boat is all remodeling upgraded. It’s the same old boat they had for 20 years and all they did was paint and put carpet in it. Now you’re stuck in an old beat up boat the kitchens don’t have any good food the rooms are dirty and we paid almost $10,000 to go on this cruise. It was the worst money we’ve ever spent.

Booked a Cruise for August and it is my first time booking one. Paid first deposit and second payment. Went to pay final payment and it would not allow me to log in. Called them to o my find out that they cancelled my reservation and to rebook it would be an additional $600. I explained that I that I had tried to log into my account several times and they said basically oh well. They had my email out in incorrectly so I was not receiving information in regards to my cruise of payments. Definitely will not be booking with Carnival again.

Carnival Vista cruise May 6th thru the 13th Stayed in stateroom 2230 . Customer service was poor .we still have not received our survey promised by the Captain and Cruise Director TJ Food at Horizon Restaurant Terribe was cold and disgusting do not waste yourMoney on this Carnival Vista Cruise. See ya TJ.
