Great service when we needed it the most

CarePatrol was recommended to us from a social worker. I took on my 83 year old Great Aunt, and just 3 weeks into caring for her she lost her balance, fell and broke her shoulder. I was so overwhelmed as my husband and I are doing this on my own and we have four children to still take care of. They have been there for us and are a wealth of knowledge as information. After another fall, I had to place my Great Aunt into an assisted living facility for her safety. They helped me take the guilt out of what was necessary. A special thanks to Christie at CarePatrol!

My sister and I both live out of state from our parents. When it came time last summer to find an alternate living arrangement for our mom, we did not know where to start. And our dad was too overwhelmed with daily caregiving to help. We contacted Care Patrol, a FREE service which works sort of like a real estate agent. Our Advisor helped us narrow down the list of facilities because he already knew enough about each one to know if it met our initial screening criteria. Then he contacted the facilities for us (so we did not get endless follow up marketing calls or emails!) and he set up appointments for tours. Then he drove and accompanied us to the tours and helped us navigate the issues and ask our questions, etc. with the facility staff members. He helped us talk through our impressions afterward and offered invaluable input for us to consider. We were able to efficiently visit all the facilities under consideration in just a couple of days, which we never could have accomplished by ourselves. Once we made the decision, he was also able to recommend furniture stores and even movers to assist with the physical task of setting up our mom’s new room. While no facility is perfect of course, we have ultimately been extremely pleased and satisfied with our choice. For those who are or will be considering moving your LO into memory care or assisted living, we would highly recommend contacting Care Patrol! Working with someone who is already so familiar and connected with each facility was so very helpful. It eliminated almost all of the research phase for us, which would have been time-consuming and overwhelming. We had a great experience with Care Patrol!

If you are looking for the right place that is affordable and fits your loved ones needs, then this is the resource to use. Elise was patient, kind, and persistent. She never gave up even when one of the choices ended up at a higher rate than our budget. Elise kept on trying until a family atmosphere was found and the price was right. Thanks Care Patrol.
