Such a great resource!

I was contacted by CarePatrol to help in determining the appropriate level of care and associated facility for my mom, who is suffering from dementia and needed to relocate to a personal care facility. During the process, I had a number of conversations with Mary Ann Pickell from CarePatrol. Mary Ann was extremely helpful in helping me to understand the various levels of care available, as well as to recommend a “short list” of facilities that would meet my mom’s needs, both now and for the remainder of her life. Mary Ann was diligent in following up with me, and also helped in communicating with the facilities we were considering. I found Mary Ann great to deal with and invaluable in getting my mom to her “forever” facility.

Lisa Lawrence of Care Patrol has helped my husband and me find amazing housing placements for my mother-in-law. Our first experience was when the best fit was an independent living apartment and 4 years later when it was an assisted living setting. She is a great listener, well informed, compassionate and attentive to every detail. Lisa also has a wonderful network of other resources related to caring for a loved one. She is never "pushy" but always readily "available" when needed. I can highly recommend her services without reservation.

Melanie was amazing! I truly believed I would have to put my Dad is a nursing home. He posed challenges for placement and she found a great facility and so far Dad is thriving! Walking and socializing with all the ladies! I can't see him right now but he doesn't remember me anyway and I will hopefully soon. I was at my wits end when the doctors office gave me the number for Care Patrol. Melanie was kind and very considerate of the special circumstances Dad had.A decent place that he can afford with his retirement and pension!

When my father's wife became ill with dementia and he was too old to take care of her at home, Eric Klein took us through the agonizing process of finding the proper place for her to live. This is during the COVID crisis, when most options were closed to us. My dad wanted a place nearby, where he could visit easily when the virus was under control, and with excellent care. Eric facilitated every step along the way; gathering my dad's and his wife's documentation, patiently helping my dad and I fill out dozens of forms online (neither of us are adept with computers,) arranging a virtual tour so we could see the inside of a place Eric suggested, and learn more about the care they offered and what it cost. Many times during this process my dad became overwhelmed, distraught, depressed. Eric was always accessible by phone or email, reassuring, re-explaining things we forgot to do, and running interference between us and just about everybody. On the day my dad's wife transferred to the new facility, he picked my dad up at 8:45 and drove him there. Thanks to Eric's expertise, his vast knowledge of the geriatric care community and his empathy for the people facing this new reality, we made it through, knowing my dad's wife is safe, comfortable, and right in the neighborhood.

Eric was terrific all the way through to a successful placement in a great facility. He was patient, available, kind and well-informed throughout.

Bruce was extremely helpful, from the beginning, even thought it was a holiday weekend! His detailed expertise took a big load off of our family. Thank you!
