Frustrated, Fed Up, and Angry
I planned a trip to Morocco, beginning in May 2023. I paid for the trip with my Chase Sapphire Reserve Visa. On April 25th, I broke my leg. On May 5, I had surgery on that leg and I could not take the trip. I provided documentation (physician's statement, credit card statement showing charge, letter from travel agency stating no refund because of the late notice, etc., etc., etc. It is now mid-August and I still have not received my reimbursement or even any information as to whether or not I will be reimbursed. I've called repeatedly. I've asked to speak to supervisors, but am told I have to leave a number and no one ever calls me back. I've called Chase Customer Service and they tell me there's nothing they can do about it, and that it is Visa's choice to deal with Card Benefit Services and not Chase's choice. I'm not optimistic about getting reimbursed for my thousands of dollars. I'm considering closing the Chase account since I'm paying an annual fee for benefits I don't receive.
