I went to caliber collision on North Lamar and spoke with Datron Allen about fixing my rearview mirror. It was a remarkable experience! I had no appt, but just walked in and spoke with Mr Allen. He was able to repair the mirror in the spot. Will definitely return to this establishment if any future body work is required.

Over 2 months for a windshield…
Over 2 months for a windshield replacement caused by a rock. The process started on March 9, 2026, and as of May 11, 2026, we are finally being told the vehicle is ready for pickup.
Communication throughout the process was extremely poor. We had to follow up more than 8 times ourselves just to get updates. Multiple times we were told someone would call back, but no one ever did. When we finally reached someone, they often did not know the status of the vehicle and said they would “find out,” but then never followed up.
This was nearly a $3,000 windshield repair, and the service experience did not match the price at all.
The vehicle was also left unlocked outside in the parking lot for most of the repair process. We could see this through the vehicle’s app, meaning anyone could have accessed it.
When we stopped by to check on the vehicle after it had been sitting there for months, it was filthy. There was mud throughout the interior and debris on the exterior that had not been cleaned up.
We were also told 3 days ago that the vehicle was ready and that keys would be left for pickup. We drove 40 minutes only to arrive and find no keys available, meaning we could not pick up the car after all.
Overall, this was one of the worst customer service and communication experiences we have had with a repair shop. Delays happen, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and care for the vehicle made the entire process extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this location based on our experience.

My insurance company Progressive…
My insurance company Progressive Insurance recommended me to take my vehicle to Caliber Collison on Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC. Caliber started off texting me and keeping me informed with every move they made on my vehicle. In one text they told me my vehicle would be ready on a certain day. when I called, I discovered it would not be ready for at least a few more days. I shared with the rep that the text sent to me was not updated. I was headed to the bank on Garners Ferry Road, where Caliber Collison is located directly behind the back; I saw my van in the back with no repairs going on with it. I went over to Caliber and they told me my vehicle had been ready at least 8 days ago, but no one contacted me to let me know it was finished. Driving to a job location one day, I noticed something was flapping around the wheel body. When I checked it, the piece that was shaking was not attached. I also noticed several other things that was not repair. I even saw where someone took a hammer and hit the fender around the tire and it knocked the paint off the area. I contacted Caliber manger Mr. Taylor and he told me to bring the vehicle over so he could look at it. He set up a date for me to bring it back to get repaired. I dropped it off another day for them to make the repairs. Gave Mr. Taylor the key. It was closing time when I came back to get my vehicle, thinking everything was repaired. As I was driving to another job assignment, I noticed my antenna was flopping like it was not attached. Checking into thing Caliber was supposed to do, still they were not done properly. Now, they have informed my insurance company (progressive) that they ordered some things for my vehicle and they have been trying to get in touch with me (not true). No one tried to contact me. No one left a message. No one left a text. This vehicle was dropped to Caliber on 12-08-2025 and after working on in twice, and working on it for 2 weeks, it is still not finished. Make it make sense.

I took my Mercedes to Caliber Collision…
I took my Mercedes to Caliber Collision to repair the quarter panel due to an accident. AAA was paying for the repairs that totaled $5,800 which was way too much. Upon inspection to my car I noticed the body work wasn’t straight. There was a missing molding on right side that was there when I took it to the shop. Unbelievably it took three times to get it right. When I picked up my car I noticed the rear bumper was damaged and pointed this out to the General Manager. They took the car back in and removed the bumper to paint it. That took 3 days. After that I picked up my car and noticed inside the wheel wells the installation was rubbing on both rear tires. They had forgotten to put the covers back. Then while driving my dash board lit up with the ABS/ESP lights, Parking Brake light, and malfunctioning air suspension light. All of this was working before they touched my car. I called them and explained the situation and returned the car to the shop. They said they were not responsible for the damages and would not fix the problems they caused. None of these problems existed before taking the car to them. I would not recommend them to fix anything.

My car was rear ended in Feb 2026 on…
My car was rear ended in Feb 2026 on the tollway in Dallas. While moving my car by the order of NTTA, I scrubbed the undercarriage and tore a chrome piece off the front of my car. I had a repair replace in mind to take my car to get fixed; however my insurance (USAA) informed me that I would me charged additional charges if I took my car to where I wanted to take it. And they told me to take to Caliber collision which I was hesitant but, felt since it was minor damage it should be no problem. The original or first Caliber Collision (CC) I took it too, I told them about the accident, and me tearing a minor piece off when it scrubbed the undercarriage. Make a long story short, that CC could not fix a Mercedes so they towed it to another CC in Richardson, TX which I thought was odd. Mind you, if you looked at my car you really could not tell of the minor cosmetic damage unless I pointed it out. Not even two days, the CC told me it looks like it’s gonna be a total loss! I was flabbergasted because it was only minor damage. CC said the headlights, radiator, etc was damaged, which I kept asking how over a scrub in the front! Said they couldn’t find the headlights to replace and new headlights would be over $4,000! I kept asking how in the world does my headlights and radiator was damaged?!!! They couldn’t give me an answer! However, they found some used headlights which they guy said those lights may be damaged union arrival! ???? Wait what?! Basically, minor damage estimated almost $12,000, which the insurance company may put this as a total loss over me barely scrubbing the bottom of my car and breaking a $100 undercarriage plastic piece! They had my vehicle over two weeks which their communications skills are subpar negative! Neither less to say the same day the insurance sent me an email claiming my car was considered a total loss because the car was unrepairable, CC notified that day to tell me that the headlights that came in were broken!!! I took possession of me vehicle which was discovered that CC took the entire front section off of my vehicle (headlights, front grill, bumper, etc), for what I don’t know! I sent my vehicle to an independent collision center for a second opinion, and immediately was informed that the car was not a total loss and was repairable and they didn’t not know why CC took my car a part which there was really no damage as they saw it. My insurance company stated they only saw pictures from CC never sent a Claims adjuster down to look at the car, and they go by what the CC list that was provided! CC and my insurance were upset that I took possession of my car which they had a third party called MoPart calling to sign over my title to them to part my car out, and wanted to pay $19,000 for it! So now I have lawyers involved because of money hungry CC and USAA trying to undermine me!

Took twice as long, zero communication.
N Myrtle Beach location. Took more than twice as long to receive vehicle back. Nothing but excuses and zero communication from them. Escalated to regional manager after they wouldn't provide CEO contact info. He promised response by close of business day I spoke to him, never heard a word back even after leaving subsequent messages. Run and don’t look back

Unable to schedule work
Went to their site in Utica, NY.
Would give 0 stars if I could, because they did nothing other than waste my time.
Showed up at 8:30 to drop off my car for body work that was scheduled over a month ago. Was told “Sorry, we’re at 140% of capacity. We won’t even start your car for two weeks.” Was told that they’re now making appointments for 6 weeks out. Got a pathetic, half-hearted “Sorry for wasting your time.” As I walked out.
I understand they may be over booked. I understand they may not know how to accommodate scheduled body work. They didn’t realize this yesterday? Or a week ago? Wait for me to accommodate their drop off time, let me show up and then get told they have other, more important customers. They didn’t realize the day before that they couldn’t handle the work?
I’d rather go to any other body shop that can respect my time than to ever step foot in a caliber collision EVER again!
