We have stayed twice now and our first…
We have stayed twice now and our first trip was not great but the company handled our issues better late than never and handled the issues well enough to convince us to come back. Our second stay we stayed at one of the cabins that is actually owned by the company which I was told would have less of a chance of any issues arising again like what happened during our first stay in an personal owned cabin. Our second trip was excellent. The only complaints we had at all was that the spout next to the hot tub was galvanized steel and our ten year old sliced his foot upon exiting the hot tub and so we had to cut our trip short a day as he wasnt able to walk comfortably with an injured foot. But they allowed us to check out a day early due to his injury with no fees so I was grateful we didnt have to worry about that and the other things was that the windows had no screens which made me very nervous in having a 2 year old who could possibly raise one of the upstairs windows and God forbid fall out. We moved the dressers in front of the windows to prevent such an awful unimaginable tragedy and I did voice my concerns to the company as I feel it is just too much of a hazard. The company owned cabin was cleaner and more well maintained than the one personally owned. The company has to get owner approvals before replacing or repairing items in a cabin and sometimes owners dont want to spend the money and just want to keep making money but the cabins owned by the company have better furnishings and is more up kept because they understand the concept of spending money to make money. Do your homework and go with a cabin that's owned by the company. We will be coming back to the last cabin we rented from now on
