I'm usually very satisfied when I stay in cabins in the Smokey's. However, this trip was not the greatest cabin experience. Our check in was after 6pm, when it should have been 4pm. Our cabin was dusty, spider webs everywhere, two of the showers did not drain, and the trash was not picked up until we called the next day for a pickup. I called for housekeeping several times during the week and they finally arrived Thursday evening at 6pm, when our checkout was Friday at 10am. Customer service was great, however, I'm not sure why our trash was never picked up during the week. The cabin was nice, however, it was not the original cabin that I booked, since it was cancelled weeks prior to our trip. I wish I could write a better review, but we did not have the greatest experience this time around.

One Night Stay . Not luxury cabins. Had some positive and some negative experiences. We stayed at Lookout Ridge PROS: 1. Reasonable maintained cabin. 2. Did a last minute one night booking which is difficult to get in smokies. 3. Had good amenities including pool table, air hockey and some old arcades and hot tub. CONS: 1. Delayed check in. My check in was delayed due to cleaning and maintenance. by almost 3 hrs. had to stay in car with my 85 year old parents and kids . Could not go out due to crowd in Gatlinburg and COVID scare. They said they had to clean the cabin. 2. No parking around the house. The parking space around was occupied by neighbors. 3. These are definitely not luxury cabins. These are average cabins which are overpriced for their regular rates. 4. Not enough Crockery for number of people who can stay. Overall not a bad experience for one night stay at last minute booking ,. However not a place I would stay if planned vacation.

First of all we spent 45 minutes in the parking lot trying to check in. I never received the email with address and key code. Had to call 3 times and ask for them to give me a verbal address and code as we was tired and hot sitting in the parking lot waiting in an emailed check in. I understand with the virus things are different but I was not told ahead of time that check in had changed. I was told I had to go to the office with my card to check in. I do not know who cleans their cabin but they do not do a good job. Kitchen cabinet had food dried on them , rice on top of refrigerator, floors needed a good mopping, carpets need a deep cleaning or pulled up. Parking area was a mess when we arrived beer can water bottles paper. Trash ben was full. Pourches we’re uninviting, furniture very old unsafe looking. Pourches their self was unsafe looking. Our neighbors on each side had nice pourches. Hot tub was a hot mess, unsafe looking. We had to call our front door would not lock. TV were hard to operate too many remotes some with batteries some with out. Maintenance had to come figure out remotes. WiFi never worked. We got ready to give baths the first night and we realized there were only 3 towels per bathroom x 3 = 9 cabin sleeps 14 we had 13. No wash clothes at all and 1 hand towel per bath. My daughters went to store to buy towels and wash cloths to give children their baths. No kitchen towels. Bed covers need to be washed or replace in a few of the bedrooms. For sure the ground level bedroom as it look like it had drool marks on it. We washed the sheet in that bedroom first night before we slept on them. It was not the original cabin we booked. I feel we were down graded in the move. So we just made do.

When we arrive at the waterfalls edge cabin the Firewood we had requested was plenty. However once inside the cabin the downstairs tv did not work, the hot tub was not cleaned. We called and they came immediately out and fixed all. Then we had a roach infestation in the kitchen. We called and once again someone came and agreed that the situation was unacceptable. The company gave us an upgraded cabin which was nicer but did not have the Creek setting of the 1st cabin. This was disappointing but we made the best of it. There needs to be a better inspection process from the cabin company.

We rented the Grandview Theater views were amazing but we were expecting to watch movies in the home theater downstairs and neither one of the DVD players were working it was missing remotes and had remotes that didn’t even work to anything hard to call it a Grandview theater when your not able to watch movies. Wish there was internet so we could of just purchased a movie off the tv but that wasn’t available either. I don’t recommend staying at this cabin if you want to use the home theater.

I stayed in the condo (E207) the past few days. The condo was nice and clean. My rental was for 4 people first night only had two wash clothes called for additional wash clothes I got them (went to local store and purchased some.) The old racist couple staying in E 206 called the security ever night making a false complaint. The complained about noise during the night the noise was the closing go the door. The second night after entering the apartment after the pool closed at 11 pm they called security again. The male security guard stated he leave under our renal condo and could hear noise. The noise was the door closing and the dishwasher. If I not already paid I would have gone to another location due my family (African American) being harassed each night by the security. I will never rent here again.

I booked my cabin far in advance and over the last few months I called 13 times to go over details as I am very thorough. Was told several times check in was at 3 even though the rules stated 4. We got in at 4:30.The desk guy told us new people give out wrong info. We arrived and the cabin was nothing like the website pictured. I was so upset. Floor was falling in. AC was broken. Hot tub didn’t work. Back deck was dirt. Not deck at all. Theater room had no projector. Etc... Talked to several people and all they seemed to want to do was apologize. Sent out maintenance 2 times and housekeeping 1 time and then an inspector. Problems that were very unsafe and couldn’t be fixed fast. We were told nothing was available to be moved to. We finally went to bed around midnight. 6 am the next morning just out of curiosity I called reservations and acted like I wanted to make last minute reservations. There were 4 cabins available. I was so angry. I asked to talk to the manager and told her what I did. They finally moved us about noon. The second cabin was absolutely gorgeous. Longer story short, we were reimbursed for our first night. I’m still salty we lost a whole day dealing with BS. All in all our vacation was good after we got settled. Do your homework, ask tons of questions. I know now what I need to ask and see. They offered us 20% off next time we book. We will. We love Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. They made it right in the end so they deserved a second chance.

The cabin was located in a location which is central to all of the activities in the area. The cabin was really nice but was certainly ready for an update. The carpet on the main floor living room was worn and dirty and the bathrooms are ready for a paint refresh. The front porch is also ready for a refreshed paint job. The cabin had many very nice amenities such as video and pinball games. The hot tub was also very nice and we enjoyed the very large rear porches (one on each level of the cabin). Overall, a nice experience.
