‼️Do not rent from here ever!!!!‼️ Cabins of the Smoky Mountains company is horrendous and even tried to apply false charges after we left. We stayed in the Splashing Elk cabin. I don’t like to post publicly against businesses but, this just was unbelievable how awful they are. The cabin was disgusting and filthy. They said we had a pet and my bank account proves different showing the charges to board my pets! Then added pet charges after we left!!! Absolutely the worst cabin I’ve stayed in over 30yrs. Customer service is horrible!!!! They will not call back and evidently everyone who works there is a supervisor so, don’t bother to ask. They won’t let you speak to a owner whatsoever. ⚠️This is your warning ⚠️ No check in until 6pm was supposed to be 4pm. We were forced to wait in the rain and we had our luggage in the truckbed and were rained on. Was told that “I suggest you take cover”. Everything filthy. We had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean the cabin so our first day was ruined due to not being able to check in and cleaning. Tub downstairs doesn’t drain and had spiders in it. The pool I wouldn’t let my dog swim in and the black mold likely would have made us sick including the baby. Food and trash in theatre Pool has black mold on walls, broken false finger nails, toys, trash, bigs, rusty fixtures and pool very dirty and probably was a health hazzard to actually swim in. It was not useable and the pool was a huge plus when choosing a cabin and we paid a small fortune to have a pool in our cabin. Trash outside in yard. Nails and screws on the deck that the baby picked up. Stains on sheets and pillows. We had to wash them all! No bedspreads on 3 of the beds just sheets and some were still dirty. Pubic hair and blood on sheets. No cable remote for tv in livingroom. Kitchen filthy food on all dishes, stove, oven and cabinets have not been cleaned for a very very long time. Food and grime on everything and had to be cleaned prior to using anything. Food on bed Wish I could post the pictures!!

UPDATE: 1 day after we returned home from our stay I received an email from Sue with the Cabins of the Smoky Mountains. She offered to refund me $100 if I would remove my Google review. Obviously, I declined. That's probably why most of the bad reviews have been removed. This company knows that they have horrible customer service and unsatisfactory cabins!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! DON'T BELIEVE MUCH OF ANYTHING PROMISED BY THESE CABINS!!!! We're on our 3rd day in the Together Always cabin and it's been extremely disappointing!!! The description stated "secluded and private", which is NOT true!!! There's a cabin literally 20 feet from ours and a I'm sitting on the back deck right now watching cars drive by on a busy road!! The amenities list provided online clearly stated a washer and dryer, which it has NEITHER!!! We brought limited clothing, thinking we could wash them, but we cannot. Also, it stated WI-FI and high speed internet was available, but they refused to give us the password for 2 days until we finally went to the main office to complain. There was no charcoal grill, as promised. We tried to use the resort swimming pool, but were denied access because the "owner of our cabin didn't want to pay for that option". We called to complain about the TV in the master bedroom not working and it took over 24 hours for a maintenance person to arrive. There wasn't even a comforter on the bed!!! The hot tub was malfunctioning, making loud, vibrating noises until 24 hours after we called about it, too. There were 2 trash bags of garbage dumped over the edge of the deck when we arrived. The customer service line isn't even for the Cabins of the Smoky Mountains, it's for the Cabins of Gatlinburg, so they take calls from hundreds of other cabin rental properties as well. Therefore, the customer service is very poor. Do yourself a favor and read all the reviews first!! Stay somewhere else!!

We stayed at the mountain memories cabin and though the cabin was beautiful it was not cleaned other than the bathrooms. We addressed it with customer service and they said someone would come out and clean but no one ever showed. Sawdust all over the floor of the down stairs living room window and on the recliner, A/C vent was very dirty and towards the end of our stay the unit was not working properly which made it hot during the day. Unfortunately we could not use the hot tub at all it was half full when we got their and only 76°! Called and they said maintenance would be out they filled the tub but the next day it was half full again (assuming a leak and temperature was back down again). Called several times with them continuing to tell us they would put us on high priority but NEVER saw anyone the rest of our stay. I had two EXTREMELY disappointed kiddos and myself and husband were as well. Yes we received some compensation but honestly wasn't enough to make things right. The owners of this cabin should hire a new company to look over their cabin for sure! Very disappointed and hope others will be more cautious when they book through y'all.

We stayed in H2Oasis. The cabin was nothing like pictured. I don’t know we’re to begin. Sliding door handle broken. Pool outside door not functioning. Dirty pool, bugs floating in an indoor pool. Hot tub disgusting. No chemicals available for pool or hot tub. Zero water pressure in the shower. 8 towels for a cabin that sleeps 10. No pool towels. Queen bed upstairs literally had a crater in the middle. 3/5 video games worked. No fire pit. Grass knee high. Broken outdoor furniture. Dirty dishes in the cabinet, lipstick on a glass. No hand towels or dish rags in the kitchen. No hangers in the so called closet. Maintenance came day one to check the pool. Placed a hose to fill it, asked us to remove the hose after it filled.

This is the worst place to stay do not stay have the worst it's mold hair in every tub and sink Heat does not work Hair in the bed which was hard as a rock I was more refunded my money but unfortunately I was unable to rent a hotel room because there was none availabella and I would not even receive my money for 7 days and I gave them all of the money The customer service told me it will be up to my bank that we'represents the button for me to receive my money but it was up to my bank this was a crazy phone conversations to have with anybody they made everything seem like it was OK but I'm sitting here in a room with a 57 Temperature

Will not book with Cabins of the SMOKY MOUNTAINS EVER AGAIN, and I have booked with them for YEARS, this last trip was a terrible experience and has forever changed the way I look at them, my bedding "if you can call if that" was dirty on the bed in the master bedroom, USED BANDAID included and HUGE COB WEBS, and the then LOFT beds had no bedding besides a thin sheet no pillows, same for the pull out bed. Now don't get me wrong, I know that they are not able to control the weather but it snowed while on our trip there during CHRISTMAS, and there was a wreck on the mountain, and we were not able to drive up to our cabin when I called them to see if there was anyway they would be able to help me out the guy that I spoke with told me no that he would refund me one night that way I can go find a hotel, but I told him that I cant do that as I have my dogs in the cabin and my mother who is disabled has life or death medication in the cabin that she HAS to take and a machine that she needs to sleep with, and his response was and I quote " IF IT IS TRULY LIFE OR DEATH WHY ARE YOU NOT CARRYING HER MEDICATIONS WITH YOU?" umm first off sir she only takes it twice a day and you shouldn't ask that, well his response well they only thing I can tell you is to wait for them to clear it or walk up to your cabin... umm did I mention we were almost to the top of the mountain with one way in and one way out... so we had to walk up that mountain with my disabled mother, which took her almost 4 1/2 hours. she is still trying to recover from that, but when you have medication that you have to take in order to keep you alive you do what you must, well if that is enough bad luck 2 days later my uncle gets into a terrible car wreck so we had to leave from our family vacation a few days early so I called them to see about doing and early check out and they told me that they would not be able to work with me on refunding any of the days that where were no longer using. All in all it was a Terrible experience and horrible people I dealt with this time around, so I will no LONGER BE DEALING WITH THEM.

The cabin was dirty the pool was dirty the hot tub was dirty the beds were barely made with no top sheets there was standing dirty water in the pool room the microwave didn’t work the ice machine didn’t work there wasn’t even enough rolls of toilet paper to accommodate the number of people we had or towels when you called to complain they said 2 to 4 hours and then they would never show up! It was a horrible awful experience and they charged us a lot and they only refunded $125 what a rip off this place should not even be open if they’re going to rent cabins out in these conditions! No garbage cans in any bathrooms either, pool pump filter went out as well. It was our family reunion for thanksgiving and I wish we had stayed somewhere else. We totally got ripped off.

If I could rate this Cabin rental a zero I would. We came to stay at Blue birds over the valley for my bachelor party to enjoy some hiking and take in the breathtaking views of the Smokey mountains the images on the website provided, but sadly that was a lie. Of the 3 levels of the cabin you can only see the mountains from the very top and only if you stand in the middle, all the other floors all you can see is garbage strung up on trees. I wish that was the worst there was but sadly it’s not. When we finally received a text of where the cabin actually was after 3pm, we arrived to a worker still in said cabin installing blinds. He had garbage and tools in every room and on the beds and also remained there for another 3 hours past our arrival. As we walked around the cabin to check it out we noticed weed crumbs on one of the beds and it looked like someone laid down in the bed. The worker also used the bathroom in my room and just didn’t flush. The cabin looked like it was never properly cleaned as there was hair in the shower and grim and spills on multiple things through out the cabin. All the vents were covered in dust and the ones that weren’t were covered in black mold! Multiple things like the bottom of the stove and door knobs were broken, one of the Hot tubs was missing and the one that was there half the jets didn’t work. The entertainment area down stairs had this giant platform in the middle of the room that wasn’t pictured on the website which made it impossible to use the pool table because it’s against the wall. I saved the best for last because going to retrieve the cleaned dishes from the dish washer (which was running when we got there) we opened it up to find roaches! All over the cleaned dishes and in the cabinets. The only positive was the second repair man they sent the next day to spray the outside of the vents with bleach to clean the black mold, he was friendly. We emailed them and called them about all of our issues and their only solution was to send someone to clean the outside of the vents and told us to have a blessed day. For $4000 for the 3 nights (which includes a cleaning fee in that) you’d think they would be a little more helpful to their customers. Also upon disputing the company on BBB they blatantly lied about trying to move us even tho I have email proof that no such effort was put forth by them. Stay far away from this company
