If there was a rating less than 1, I would pick it. The agent I called knew nothing about the product I needed (insulin) and when I told her that I need it to keep my blood sugar under control, she said "I heard that many people with diabetes end up having their leg amputated." I tried to reach a supervisor, but was told there are no supervisors.

I am currently dealing with the worst customer service I’ve experienced in terms of DME companies. I am diabetic and wear a pump; having a CGM integrated with my device is central to me maintaining good glucose control. I placed an order on the evening of July 3rd and still have not received it. Every day I call, it is a different issue. I have not worn a sensor in nearly a week. The woman today informed me it’s an insurance issue and there is basically no concern with waiting this long. I pressed for answers because I truly wanted to know how to avoid this. She chose to continue talking over me as if I’m a child and when I said these consistent issues make me want to choose another provider, she invited me to do exactly that. I guarantee when I call tomorrow, I will get the run around. Meanwhile I feel awful because I can’t keep my numbers under control with my pump. It’s unacceptable! Don’t use this company if you value your health. Edit on 7/14: as expected, there is yet another issue and nothing has been done to fix it. This time they need a new prescription. Yesterday it was an insurance problem. Whatever.

This company is actually scary. Diabetic supplies are a necessity to life and their callous/non-existent customer service should be criminal. I kept ordering supplies and it was indicated in process but never shipping. Finally get through to a human and they advised that I owed them $97. It says this nowhere in the online account and I have never received a single bill or even collection call. I am getting dangerously low on supply so I say, fine, I will just pay it and then figure it out. Nope. Now I have to call some collection agency which will get back to me in 48 hours. Also have never heard of any amount due from this collection agency. Hung up, found new supplier and had Dr. send prescription to them and within an hour, received a shipping notification. It is incredible to me that companies like Byram are allowed to operate with this level of service-they should be ashamed. EDIT to response from Byram: This is the whole story and this experience was so bad that there is no room for another chance so, no point in spending any more time addressing it. On top of that, it looks as though you have plenty of other bad reviews to indicate that you have a systemic issue in your organization.

The ordered items arrived quickly and the product was well packaged. However, I tried six times to pay my bill online and could not get the system to work. I called twice and their automated card number system rejected two out of three cards. All cards are valid with thousands still available. The customer service women were polite, even when I was not. I do not care if they are an equal opportunity employer. Get an automated system that works. I have cancelled by account. I have never in my life had this difficult a time paying a bill. I haI wil die before using this company again.

I have been a customer of Byram Healthcare for about a decade, and make a yearly order with them. This year, I finally got fed up. I tried calling approximately 12 times over the course of a week and a half. I could not place my order online because I need to pay out of pocket, so I had no choice but to call. I was never, ever able to get in touch with anyone but a terrible hold song and a 2001 automated recording saying, "Your call is important to us. We respect your time. Thank you for your patience" for 10-15 minutes before deciding to try calling back later. I also tried emailing and going onto their live chat -- which also doesn't even have AI integration, you just wait for a very slow agent to respond to you in the queue. Super disappointing. I have moved on to an alternative company, which I called and a human actually picked up the phone, patiently helping me place my order within 15 minutes. I will not be going back to Byram Healthcare.

Why does a company as big as Kaiser Permanente deal with inefficient, overpriced Byram Healthcare? Byram phone support agents providing inaccurate information, chat agents with attention deficit disorder and a return policy that is inferior to other competitors offering the same durable medical supplies. I was promised a receipt for a recent order would be emailed to me. Multiple requests were ignored. Finally, a chat agent informs me it will be 30 days before I receive a bill. I only have 15 days to return the order if the billing is inaccurate. Clearly, there is something terribly amiss with Byram's lackadaisical billing procedure and short return policy. I was also informed by a Byram phone agent that orders under $200 cannot be returned. There is nothing about this rule on the Byram website. Additionally, chat agents from Byram's billing department cannot process returns. A customer must contact the order department via phone or chat. Returns must be taken to a United State Post Office. No UPS or Federal Express. Absolutely horrible value overall. I will not deal with Byram Healthcare again. I will use an alternative such as Amazon and get reimbursed from Kaiser.

An order I placed many weeks ago for stomat supplies still has not been released, with the claim that I owe money from last October. To clarify, I was covered in full, including all deductibles by Medicaid Medicare Independent Health Independent Health Case number on this problem - CAS000044995 Previous NYS of Health Coverage, too. I have been assured during several calls to IHA, Medicaid, and Medicare that I was fully covered in October. There should be NO outstanding balance, and I will not be liable for this sum. I have now given this information to their billing department on about 8 occasions, and was told more than once that everything was "fixed." In the meantime, my supply order was canceled. The lack of communication before I discovered the problem is astounding. Why would you suddenly be billing for October - 8 months later (count them) The amount of personal time I have spent trying to fix a problem on THEIR end is exasperating. I will seek an alternative supplier, but in the meantime this situation MUST be resolved Patricia Telesco

If I could put it at a minus one I would, they used to have good customer service people that could understand you and help the situation. I believe now they are dealing with a call center and they just continually talk over you and do not listen to what your problem is and when you explain it, they still don’t It has been the worst ordering experience I’ve had in the past year, I will probably be changing this company because now they’re starting to make mistakes with my insurance which pays 100% of my supplies I do not trust this company anymore so I will definitely be looking somewhere else
