If I could give this zero stars, I would. My roommate repeatedly broke the lease (smoking) for 8 months and when I asked her to stop, she refused. I asked Bungalow for help and their response was “throw a pizza party and talk it out.” They did nothing to help me in the situation; when I was moving out, I saw her smoking in the apartment. I also had multiple issues with mice, including dead rodents left in traps. It took 2+ weeks to hear back from their management team and they refused to move the dead animals (I did myself). Additionally, they did not tell me when their maintenance team was coming so sometimes in the middle of a meeting (I work from home) I had to stop my work and let them in. Trying to talk to someone on the phone on the customer service team was extremely difficult. It took multiple attempts and with several customer service representatives to receive a call.

Don't fix broken appliances. Bungalow has hidden provisions to charge you for bedrooms that they haven't been able to lease. Experience with customer service has been full of false promises and threats. Stay away!

Product service being offered to homeowner customers is a bait and switch… essential job duties include bamboozling prospects into signing paperwork with no internal infrastructure to follow through and properly care for properties. Additionally, company holds NO LICENSE in any state to act as a legal property manager.

They made everyone extend their lease without telling any of us that master lease is about to expire . And suddenly we have to move out within couple month. What is the point of signing a lease anymore. Everything always work in their favor , we have to pay 3 month to break a lease and when it's their turn they can break and kick us out anytime . They offered cheap 250 for the move but then that it. According to the law , if you want to terminate the lease early you will have to pay us out - which mean they will have to pay us money until the lease end . They send random roommate moving in without give us opportunities to chat and vote and it's a mistake in their end and they refuse to do anything about it. it's a question for safety. Letting random people living with you No one will stay if you treat ur customer like this. You trick people to sign up for your service and then treat people like crap after. I would never recommend this company to anyone I know .

Caught my roommate on camera breaking into my room, naked from the waist down, to steal from me. Bungalow did nothing for over five months. No phone number to call, no efforts to remove him from the unit. Unsafe nightmare!

At one point I worked with bungalow to rent out a few of my units. Everything started out smoothly, then they started to struggle to find renters. We initially had a lease in place where they guaranteed a certain amount, they withheld months of rent and stated that we go to a profit sharing model or they wouldn't pay me the back rent. This tied my hands to accept what they offered. The profit sharing model paid less than what the agreed lease amount was, and I was never certain how much would come in. Rooms would sit vacant for months and when I asked what was being done to show them in person, they said that due to the pandemic no showings were occurring in person. I asked if I could help(we run a property management company) they said no. I asked what price changes were made, again nothing. They were not proactive about renting out vacant rooms. I decided to terminate our agreement at the end of the term, the end of was the worst, they had people move out a month early, meaning I missed out on an entire month, they didn't bring back the unit to what it originally was after their improvement, they owed back rent and damages which wasn't paid. The situation that was the worst for both me and the residents is they didn't tell a set of residents that we weren't renewing them until very last minute, these people had to scramble to find alternative housing. I had to help them personally as bungalow stopped responding to them. Because they rented this unit partially furnished, they left all the furniture for me to deal with. If you are a landlord do not work with them.

This place is horrible and should be avoided by women. I wrote a similar review on Google, but in short my girlfriend was the victim of stalking and sexual harassment within one of their units over the course of several months in 2020, culminating in her calling the police and moving out. Bungalow could not have cared less, implied that she was a willing participant who brought it on herself in what they dismissed as a “roommate dispute.” I’m afraid the chances are high a woman gets preyed on in one of their complexes someday unless they implement any changes in protocol, such as onsite management, in-person mediators and criminal background checks — none of which they will do as it compromises their bottom line.
