Place looks filthy and smells.
There is a charge for cleaning and the kitchen, refrigerator, bathroom are filthy. When was the last time somebody cleaned the kitchen?.
The restroom is filthy and smelly.
This is not what your add sells.

I had an extremely negative experience…
I had an extremely negative experience with Bungalow. My concerns involved billing disputes, fees, maintenance issues, and communication throughout my tenancy. After months of attempting to resolve these issues, I ultimately filed a civil lawsuit against the company and the matter was later settled.
Based on my experience, I would not rent through Bungalow again and would not recommend the company to friends or family. I found the advertised costs to be significantly different from the total amount I ultimately paid, and I felt many issues were handled in a way that created unnecessary stress and frustration.
Before signing a lease, I strongly encourage prospective tenants to read the lease carefully, research reviews from multiple sources, and fully understand all fees, policies, and obligations.

Claudio was absolutely exceptional…
Claudio was absolutely exceptional throughout our leasing process. From the very beginning, he was responsive, professional, transparent, and incredibly helpful every step of the way.
What stood out most was his willingness to advocate on our behalf. He took the time to investigate questions we had regarding pricing, concessions, payment timing, and lease terms, and consistently followed up with clear answers and written confirmations. He went above and beyond to communicate with management and ensure we understood every detail before moving forward.
Moving can be a stressful process, but Claudio made it feel straightforward and seamless. His responsiveness, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to helping us find solutions gave us a great deal of confidence throughout the process.
We are incredibly grateful for all of his help and are excited to be moving into our new home. Bungalow is fortunate to have someone as dedicated and professional as Claudio on their team.

If you like being assaulted by spam and bot calls
Once you have contacted them they offer nothing but unwanted texts, calls, and emails. Bots call your mobile repeatedly and you cannot get rid of them.

On-Off Communication
Was contacted frequently by multiple people when I had stuff to confirm but when reaching back out I haven't gotten well timed responses. I still don't know when or how to move in or get my keys.

Age-based screening raised concerns during roommate matching
I recently explored a short-term rental through Bungalow in the Denver area, specifically a Lakewood, CO listing near Sloan’s Lake, and had a concerning experience during the roommate matching process.
After a brief exchange, one of the current residents told me directly:
“We are looking for someone around our same age. We’re all young women with similar goals.”
This was shared before any meaningful questions were asked about my lifestyle, schedule, or compatibility. From my perspective, it felt like I was being screened out based on age rather than any actual assessment of fit.
For context, I’ve worked in live entertainment for over two decades, often living on tour buses and in shared environments with large groups under demanding conditions. Being tidy, respectful, and easy to live with isn’t new to me—it’s been essential to my work for years.
I recently returned to my home state and am simply looking for a short-term, respectful place to land while I transition into my next chapter. It was disappointing to be dismissed without any real conversation.
I would encourage Bungalow to provide clearer guidance to residents on evaluating potential roommates based on compatibility rather than assumptions, and to ensure the platform discourages exclusionary screening practices.
A fair process should include at least a basic conversation before making decisions that appear to be based on age alone.
