I recently ordered just a small amount of citric acid and it was shipped in a reasonable amount of time and arrived without issue. The product was packaged well and worked great. I prefer to support small business and avoid the omnipresent online retail giant that is killing these businesses. Happy to order again in the future as the need arises. Keep up the good work!

My experience with Bulk Apothecary has been extremely disappointing. The company as a whole has been rude and unprofessional from start to finish. Communication was vague, slow, and consistently unhelpful. Instead of providing clear answers or solutions, I received dismissive responses and constant delays with no explanation. I also worked with their graphics department, and the service was just as unprofessional. After numerous emails with Alise, the final labels I received were poorly designed, extremely small, and completely unusable. The quality did not match what was promised or what I paid for. Overall, the customer service, communication, and final product were all far below acceptable standards. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about the experience you described, from the communication challenges to the issues with the final labels. What you outlined is far below the standard we expect from any part of our team, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to receive labels that didn’t meet your expectations after so much back-and-forth. Your concerns about responsiveness, clarity, and the quality of the graphics work have been escalated to both our customer service and graphics leadership teams so we can review what went wrong at each step. We appreciate you taking the time to provide this detailed feedback, and we’re committed to addressing these issues internally. -The Bulk Apothecary Team

I had previously given this company a 5‑star review, but my experience has changed. Their shipping times are ridiculous—it takes 3 to 4 days just for the order to leave their facility, and then the package sits in various locations waiting for pickup. This delay makes the whole process far too slow. Unfortunately, I’ll have to look for another company. Very disappointed.
Response from Bulk ApothecaryDec 12, 2025
Thank you for sharing this feedback, Paula. We’re very sorry to hear about the delays you experienced—especially after previously having great experiences with us. Your frustration is completely understandable. While carrier pickups and transit times can vary, it should not take several days for an order to leave our facility, and we’re reviewing your comments internally with our fulfillment team to understand what happened and where we can improve. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are sorry to have let you down. -The Bulk Apothecary Team
