As a new customer with this company Build.com I have the worse experience with them I purchased a door for my closet that was builded in my house I found this company searching the internet and I found a door that I was looking for, the price was very good I read all the terms they post in their website and that including the refund was not my intention to refund the door I purchased but unfortunate the door was not good for my project therefore, I must returned everything was fine until I did not hear from them about my refund I had to sent 3 e-mails to them in order to get my refund back of less money I paid $226.67 they posted a refund of $196.44 $30.23 according to them I was charged for shipping which I think is a rip off! They lost a customer for sure!

Bait & switch. Look at all the reviews on line for this company elsewhere. They are true. Although the sales clerk, Storm Sanchez, seemed nice, prices all of a sudden hiked when I actually ordered. They quoted me a price of $2875 (after i signed up for their credit card) but when I tried to order online, it would not go thru. After some deliberation with Mr. Sanchez, he emailed and said Samsung increased their pricing by $500! (yet he had 6 in stock). Guess I got lured in, however not biting, Ill go to a reputable store. And I am filing with BBB. Dont waste ur time.

I placed an order for 5 matching light fixtures, 4 were as ordered, 1 was not. I was told that for my "convenience" the item I ordered would be sent to me (how convenient right? to get what I ordered?) But I would have to return the wrong item. I was told I needed to print the return label they sent me, locate a plastic sleeve to place it in, and locate packing tape to reseal the box. I did all that. They set up a UPS pickup with a SECOND tracking number. UPS shows up and not only takes the return item but slaps the second shipping label on a package that HAD JUST BEEN DELIVERED TO ME and took that too! With $200+ merchandise. I contacted Build.com 5 times by email, waited on hold forever, gave up and finally did a live chat which I again had to wait for a representative, and was told they couldn't help me. They never responded to ANY of my emails! UPS was equally unhelpful and I have had to contact Craftmade who will be receiving my package MY PACKAGE to attempt to get it returned! Terrible customer service

I purchased a Kohler bathtub along with its overflow bath drain. Delivery was set for a specified date and time range. Driver of freight delivery called in 2 hours EARLIER than the arranged time appointment and never came back to make the delivery. I waited all day expecting another attempt for freight to be delivered on the time slot promised. I was on the phone all day with representatives from both Build.com and from their freight delivery partner, A. Duie Pyle, trying to find out the delivery status only to be told AT THE END OF THE DAY that a delivery needs to be rescheduled. I made several complaints including one to the Office of the President at Build.com that proudly claims in their website,"My employees are empowered to handle anything to ensure every customer's satisfaction. This is a supposed quote from the former president, Mr.Friedland, that is now a borrowed "copy and paste" cheap quote for the current president, Mr. Wheeler. On the rescheduled delivery, one of the packages came all destroyed (box all opened and squashed with pieces of the merchandise all over the loading truck). I sent another follow up email with picture to the Office of President only to be met with the same apologies and promises to bring this issue up to the appropriate parties. There seems to be a lack of value and acknowledgement of customers time. The absence of any kind of compensation offered for time lost and lack of service in delivering product and packaging in good shape clearly speak volumes to negligence and affront to customer service.

I own a plumbing company in Tucson, AZ Received 2 different orders in the past couple weeks. Orders came very quickly. Brand new Kohler toilet arrived in excellent condition. Free delivery too! Friendly truck driver. The toilet arrived 2 days after I ordered it!

I ordered a window air conditioner. It was supposed to be delivered within a week. When it didn't arrive, I contacted Build, who first provided non-sensical tracking information, then, when pushed, gave me tracking information for On Trac, their shipper. On Trac first claimed that the product had been delivered to my business, which is tiny, and said that "no one had signed for it" and "nobody needed to sign for it", then they claimed that they had located the product, which had been "misdelivered" and promised that they would deliver it to me within a day. Of course, they never delivered it! I filed a claim with Pay Pal, and need to wait 30 days for Pay Pal's judgement of the "claim". By that time I'll be in the market for heaters not air conditioners! If every internet retailer acted like these jokers, NO ONE would be using ecommerce today! If you want a lot of frustration, these creeps are the people to do business with!

I was doing a remodel. Ordered over $1K worth of products from this company. Vital plumbing parts were shipped from two separate locations via UPS to the post office in my town, then turned over to the USPS Sure Post to deliver to me.(Guess it's cheaper than UPS to my door??) Both packages not addressed correctly so both were "undeliverable". Long story short I ended up having to order a piece from Amazon which cost me quite a bit more because I had to order one piece of a "set" I had tried to order from build. Also, with the time lost because of their choice of shipping method I had to have my Amazon order shipped overnight so the plumber could rough in the plumbing and the tile could be completed. Asked build.com if they would at least reimburse me for the extra amount I had to pay because their choice of shipping was the cause of the entire headache. Received a "Sorry, we can't do that. We know Sure Post is a problem and we're working on it but we just can't reimburse you the difference". So the $50 it would have cost them to make it up to a customer who had spent over $1,000 with them wasn't worth it?? Hope that $50 was worth losing any future business of mine and receiving a poor review. Save yourself the trouble and headache and just order from Amazon.
