BudsiesReviews of budsies.com

I went to Budsies for a custom plush as I had heard that they were best at replicating the style of a reference; in preperation I had custom drawn a professional concept sheet, with views of all sides and some of the parts with seperate images for better clarity - I was hoping doing this would leave zero room for error and my precious little guy would come out perfectly but unfortunately there were plenty of glaring errors and oddities; - The character’s fur collar was replaced with a single flat shape on the back of its neck. - The wings were completely misshapen despite them being both simple and given specific attention in the concept sheet. - Any small markings were sewn on over the plush’s main fabric instead of being integrated into the base pattern; this has caused some of them to peel off overtime and also shed small bits of fabric all over the place. - The arms are completely out of proportion, being weirdly long compared to the rest of the plush. They were also overstuffed and had to be sewn to the stomach to keep them in their resting position instead of being left floppy to keep the same effect. - Speaking of overstuffing, the character’s torso is also very dense. He is a large round shape so I was expecting it to be a little odd, but it’s to an uncomfy degree. The stomach is also a very strange shape and looks ugly from most angles. There are many additional small errors, but these would be nitpicking more than anything and just bloat up the review. Overall, if you’re not too fussed about your character being exact to the reference then Budsies might be right for you, but I wouldn’t go to them if you’re looking for perfection.

great socks designs,i got them for my family for the birthday! they love them so much, great gift

Worse customer service ever, they shipped my order with bad reputed company I made my order on March I have not received it until today The seller is denying any responsibility to track of my order. It has been with the shipping company since 10 of May complaining about this on there Facebook page got me blocked from their page.

First order from them back in 2019 went beautifully, but reorders since then have been atrocious. We requested a reorder of a the 2019 item in December of 2021. They sent us an entirely different product. We paid *again* to get the right item created. They sent the saddest reproduction of the original item *to the wrong address*. The reps keep blaming their manufacturers in China and the fact that there's apparently a Lunar New Year every few months. They've stopped responding to all emails. TLDR: We paid thousands of dollars twice for Budsies to send the wrong products and now they're ignoring us *Update November 2023* After posting this review, Budsies reached out to resolve the issue by having us ship them the original doll they were trying to replicate. They lost it in transit to their manufacturers in China in June/July. After repeated emails, we're still struggling to get any responses from them. When we finally do, they consistently blame issues on manufacturers being out on holiday, but they'll get back to us in a week or two, after which they never do. Still waiting on this order from December 2021. *Update June 2024* New rep contacted me after I followed up with the ever-silent email thread to tell me that the previous rep messed up, is no longer at the company, and now they'd like us to pay them an *additional* $1900+ for the past two orders they sent to us in error since they only charged us deposits and not the full amount. Then, and only then, will they send us the original item we ordered.

too much money, you make it obvious you are trying to profit off of us for our entertainment. there are plush commisions for 5 dollars. do better

First of all, the customer service was very friendly. They asked a lot of questions about my budsie, they even drew me how it should look like after my descriptions and pictures since I am bad at drawing. - I sent them pictures of the character I wanted but they said it must be a self drawn picture due to copyright of this character which I totally understand. Whatsoever they made a wonderful self drawn picture which looked just like the character even cuter and I was very excited to get this Budsie. They reached out to me a lot and the communication was very good. Also the Budsie came in time before Christmas even sooner then I expected and they had to ship it to Austria. So props to that. I ordered a big sized plushie and it is really big and very huggable. The only thing I am disappointed about, is how the Budsie turned out. It doesn’t really look like the picture. They got the arms and the tail totally wrong- sadly even after all those descriptions and pictures I send and even after they made such a wonderful drawing of it. It seemed like they haven’t communicated with the sewer about how it should look like at all and they just took the information of this one single drawing (which they still didn’t got quite right) It is still cute somehow it just looks different now and it’s kind of disappointing every time I look at it bc I know how it should have looked like from the picture. I wouldn’t have payed so much money for it if I had knew before how it would turn out. I would recommend to order a sneak peak with your budsie because maybe then they can still make some changes so it would turn out exactly as you wished.

I wish I read these reviews before ordering! Their responses are all the same! The customer is misleading , anyone notice a pattern in there response. I put my order is 11-4 because of their adverting get it by holiday so what a great idea for a kid for Xmas. They claim that I didn’t choose holiday rush shopping which I certainly didn’t see but seriously 8 weeks ? Here is email I got 11-21. To me it sounds like this should absolutely be done by Xmas During step 3, we'll also hand-sew the pieces together to create your huggable 3D design. Then, we'll bring your plush creation to life by adding all the fluffy stuffing. Next step: your design will pass through our quality control inspection. I didn’t hear anything so I reached out 12-16. Here is response. Hi Kristin, Thank you for reaching out to us. Please disregard my previous email as well. Your Budsie Puppet should be finished up shortly. There were a few small changes that needed to be made to the design before your Budsie Puppet could be completed. Our designers noted slight alterations to be made, so the seamstresses have had to go back in and adjust this prior to shipment. We are working to get this corrected and sent out to you as soon as possible! Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you again for your patience and understanding, Carli Sooooooo, am I the only one who sees “should be finished up shortly ? “. I guess their definition of shortly means another 5 weeks cause they are telling me 1-27. I think they have t even started my order cause when I asked to see proof , nope! Wouldn’t provide it to me. This is $200 people Do better!!!!!!
