Just don't
Just don't. They independently decided on colours of the created soft toy and didn't follow the drawing colours. They didn't even try to come close to them. We got a chicken made. They decided to make the head a different colour to the rest of the body even the drawing is all the same colour. Adding stripes when there were no stripes and didn't acknowledge the proportions of the the different coloured areas (a litte patch went 4 times the size than in the picture for example). I described a front patch on the chest as brighter than the rest of the body and they used a dark brown instead. So the opposite what was shown in the drawing and description. At the end they showed me a colour chart from a short fur they use, so I could choose the colours instead because they were not able to. The colours I chose matched quite well. Plot twist: that was not the correct colour chart for the medium fur they actually used on the soft toy. So I got a completely different colour again and they told me then, that I choose that colour so not their problem and that it would be a lighting issue. They can't see the difference between a sandy colour and an orange colour. Unprofessional and not using common sense. It is now months in the making and by the looks of it, I have to pay for the changes they messed up again. It was a birthday present but that is now long over I hope it can be now a christmas present. Never again. So much stress. So much money. Answer to Budsies reply: I did ask again for extra support from another person which has not happened yet. I hope the designers are not doing anything because I haven't seen the correct colour chart yet. I am waiting now since weeks of a picture just for the correct colour chart. What is interesting is that the other colour I chose are correct but the sandy color I chose is orange. I have a feeling there is a mistake in the naming of this specific colour in medium fur. Because in short fur it looks sandy with an orange hue. The longer fur it is bright orange. That the designer didn't see or understood that I obviously didn't choose an orange, I can't understand. Yes it was named "light orange" in the colour chart but it looks sandy colour and not bright proper orange, what I have got now. It could have been named black or what ever colour on your end, but I chose a sandy coloured material. That you name it " light orange" is not my fault. I chose the colour not the name and your designer should have seen that, because that is the colour on the drawing. It is like talking to AI. It is very frustrating and costly.
