My Budsies, Howl the dog, turned out perfect! My whole family loves him. He is based off a book character I created, and he looks just like my illustrations. Whenever my son or I walk by and see Howl out of the corner of our eyes, we think it's a real dog! I could not be more pleased. He is bigger than I expected, and has the perfect amount of firmness.

I ordered Astra, but it's wad good, the color was almost messed up, but the eyes is so weird, and IDK why it's wasn't made Alpha Beat 1 and logo on his chest. Actually I fixed it by myself like added Beat 1 logo on his chest

Ordered 4 plushies. They came pretty quick (a bit more than a month after ordering), and i also added lots of details so they would get the plushies exactly right. but when they came; - Legs were too far in the front (like under the face) - Features did not look like how i specified/showed (they were flat instead of solid) - Two of the plushie's faces did not look like the faces in the order (one face was based of a different image that did not have the concept image of the face and the other had a completely different expression then in the concept image.) but the reason this isnt a one star is that the patterns of the plushies were exactly like the ones in the pictures. I paid 800$ for these and i would have paid more if it wasn't for some coupons! i had gotten one plush before and when it arrived it looked terrible, but i thought that was on me because i only showed one image that wasn't even concept art. but now i know that its not my fault!! DO NOT ORDER FROM BUDSIES!

The process is nothing but fun! Our daughter drew her picture, added details such as she wanted the eyes to be "soft, innocent eye" and they nailed it. The quality is superior. We were pleasantly surprised.

Their 'interpretation' of the art supplied was so far off, it didn't even look like the character. The colors were way off. The apron, colored to look like a Starbucks apron, was a light lime color. It draped down the bear like a dress. Not apron-like at all and no where close to the right color. The bear, whose color was a rich red-brown color, they made him light tan. I showed a friend and they didn't even recognize the bear from my artwork supplied. It wasn't even close. Terrible customer service. Charged me an additional $50 for a retry, but I don't trust them at this point. I doubt they know what they are doing - because surely they can't figure out the correct colors. I requested a refund, but even a partial would have sufficed. Way over-priced for their 'interpretation', the word they used to excuse the fact it didn't look like my artwork. I'm so disappointed, I'm donating it to the goodwill. It's terrible, not even close to what I was expecting and the customer service is horrendous. They are happily at an impasse and won't budge to salvage this situation. Waste of $160 and a terrible use of funds I received to produce my book.

I love my custom plushie from budsies! Any negative feedback is ridiculous. My plushie turned out amazing and was better than expected! It turned out quality and nice! Thanks budsies for turning my drawing into a plushie!

2025 Edit: Got the second plushie, seems lower quality and didn't meet my height instructions, instead making her 2" shorter instead of taller. Only a year old and the under arm seam has completely split, whilst the 4 year old one is just fine, only the white fabric has slightly yellowed. However, the first version got lost in transit and had to make it entirely from scratch again, and even added in a suggested alteration of mine, all with no extra charge; something ill forever be thankful for, but the change in quality and unfollowed instructions is too obvious to miss. 2023: Loved my plushie i ordered in 2021, hope to get another eventually so the character has her partner :D the commission raffles can be quite frustrating, especially with having found out this year you have to use a previous email to get the same maker another time, which makes the experience frustrating in my situation. Overall, i do recommend, especially if you have a decent/lower budget and looking for a plush of your own or favourite character ^^
