I signed up for this after my daughter's accident. we had ONE appointment and the psychiatrist agreed it was too soon. I paid $299 and only got one session. I have been trying to cancel ever since with no luck by email, phone.

The provider selection process was thorough and I was matched with a wonderful counselor, Carman Maldonado. I appreciate the extra lessons in the program, with the results being sent to Carmen so we could discuss at the next session. I like the check-ins every couple of weeks which go through a series of questions to gauge how you’re doing. Communication has been easy, billing is going smoothly. Just an overall great experience during a rough time.

We are unable to talk to anyone in billing. We have sent several messages about billing errors and they only say they are investigating without resolving anything. After our insurance has already paid all agreed charges, weeks or months later they are charging my credit card for the same amount they've already received from the insurance. My therapist is fantastic and I'm going to miss him. I'm sorry I have to leave due to their fraudulent billing practices. After posting the above review, the company has refunded all over charges. UPDATE It is now April 2026. I quit my therapy in October because of all the billing issues. Today I received billing invoices for two therapy sessions I had in October. These sessions were paid for in full by Medicare and my Medigap Insurance. My Medigap Insurance shows the payments were made in November for the same amount they are now invoicing me. Five months after Brightside Health was paid, they are again sending me bills to get paid again. These folks have the WORST billing system I have ever encountered and even after all my complaints last summer and fall, they still haven't fixed the issues. Stay away from them or keep every invoice and receipt so you can prove the bills they are sending were already paid!!!
