I ordered a very hard to find book 2 weeks ago. It was in guest mode because I had no time to make a account. I purchased free shipping, It claims to have delivery that takes 3-5 business days. 1week later I wanted to check on my delivery, But what is this? I can’t because I didn’t create a account. And even if I do try it says Your email is invalid so here I am 2 weeks later I hope BAM learns a lesson

Terrible company with garbage methods/tactics
They say things are in-stock but they never are, and even if they're in stock, you're put in a waiting list for that item, so you're not even guaranteed to get the item that YOU purchased. Their system is unique and frankly; really stupid. I bought a manga box set from them and the listing just magically disappears from their website and they don't even give me email notifications as to why this is. Customer support is useless and garbage as well. Don't even bother with this company. They're not a scam, but the way they distribute books is really scummy and their communication is a solid 0/10. Don't recommend to anyone else at all, you're better off going to their in person stores. The online experience is something I don't want anyone else to experience.

If I could give this business thumbs…
If I could give this business thumbs down 👎 had to give a star to leave review. The website showed customer service doesn't close until 7pm Central time. I tried calling at 6pm Eastern they were already closed. After some lady named Sarah transferred me to a closed department. Have tried to reset password 5x still can't access an account that shouldn't be active. So freaking done with these characters

This website is absolute garbage
This website is absolute garbage. There isn't an in-person store near me so I can't speak for that, but I would NOT order from their website. It has been a couple weeks and my order is still "pending" when it's really in backorder. They won't let you cancel the order when it's "pending" of course. I've contacted them through phone, text, email, AND a support request and have yet to hear back from any of these in over a week. Their customer service is terrible, I haven't even been able to reach them. They won't let me cancel my order even though it's not "ready to ship" as their website clearly stated. My mother had tried ordering me manga off of this website for my birthday as well. This was THREE months ago and it still says "pending" and their customer support isn't helping us understand this at all.
Overall, no, I would not recommend this website to anybody who wants a quick and stress-free online shopping experience.

WORST experience
WORST experience, I ordered a series from them and they said it would ship out in 2 weeks back in MAY it’s now July with a status update I tried canceling the order before and it wouldn’t allow me because it was “pending” I’m glad it was cancelled but I had ZERO updates on why my order wasn’t available, how it became pending like I was going to get my order then boom cancelled. I will never use this sorry company ever again! What a waste of time. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM ONLINE EVER!!

(I had ordered the whole manga series, 12 books, have been waiting for Volume 1 since The end of May. It is July 12th today and I get this email, and I respond)
What? You mean I could have purchased this on Amazon when it was available back in May/June instead of waiting until July 12th and it is no longer available on Amazon???
How come it is still available for order on your website? What does "on order" mean when I observe the item, after I place it in my cart, as there are no indications of backordered or restocking at a certain date on the item's page now. Months ago I saw the dates on the item's ordering page about the restock, which would have been in June, so I waited. Then another restock change. So I waited. Now there is nothing indicating that it needs to be restocked on the item's page, which were previous indications to me that it would be showing up to your online store at a specific set later time. It looks available now. [Link to the Platinum End Volume 1 Manga]
How do I get an alert indicating when this item is restocked? I have removed my credit card from your website. I was considering a membership if this order worked out. This has been too frustrating of an experience. I experienced a very long wait with the 3rd book in this series as well. I have spent a lot of time and money in one of your Brick and Mortar stores as well which left me considering a membership. This was my first time ordering books online with your store. I am hesitant to do so again. When I contacted you in the past, two times for book 1 (Also a 3rd time for book 3), I was assured that it would take 2-4 weeks. It was a lot longer than that with nothing in the end. And now I can't even buy it on Amazon. Barnes and Nobel says it will be in stock July 19th, but they have been doing the same error you guys did as the item never shows up in stock and the date is pushed back. I just wish you would have told me back at the end of May that this item is out of print and no longer available at your warehouses back then. I can't find anything online that indicates this book is out of print.
I have learned to never order a book, or start a series that has any books in it that indicates that it "will be in stock" on a set later date.
----------------------------------------
FIRST IN STORE EXPERIENCE: I was scammed into a magazine subscription where they took my credit card information, without my permission or knowledge, and submitted it to a magazine company. The cashier's question at checkout was, "Would you like two free magazines?" I said, "Yes." I only swiped my card for my order of a few manga books and there was no extra information given to me about these "Free Magazines". Later I would be billed by an estranged magazine company and have to dispute it with my credit card and the store manager. The Store manager was kind and cooperative.
A SEPERATE IN STORE EXPERIENCE; I have only been there about 4 or 5 times starting spring of 2021. I am looking at the huge wall of manga books. I have sensory processing issues, so it takes me a while to process my environment. It takes me a while to go through the whole wall. And this employee keeps standing behind me and next to me and watching me for the hour that I was there. My room mate was watching her do this as well. It was creepy and degrading. It made it hard to concentrate on finding the new manga I wanted to start reading
I can't deal with this stress. Got scammed, got creeped out, and was lied to.
