I order a manga box set and I’ve been waiting over 5 weeks for it to arrive it still has not came, even though it said on the website it would arrive in 2-3 weeks. I just want my books

Ordered a book on their web site and said was in stock. 2 weeks later it still says pending. I just want to cancel the order and it will not let me. This palce is terrible. Never buy from them again.

If you're considering buying from BooksAMillion because the item you want is out of stock elsewhere, DON'T BUY HERE! Books-A-Million does not list their items as out of stock, even if they don't have any. Even after seeing reviews like this, I stupidly ordered a book from BAM, since it was out of stock everywhere else and I really wanted it. I ordered the book about three months ago - it has been "processing" all that time, and just now I got an email saying my order was cancelled. I emailed them about two weeks in, and never received a response. While I'm glad they didn't bill me yet, this entire pointless ordeal wasted three months, where so could have just ordered the book on ebay or somewhere else. IN SUMMARY: BAM doesn't list whether their books are out of stock or not, which tricks you into buying from them. Their customer service is horrendous and I didn't get a response after three months, and then they cancelled my order out of the blue after three months of "processing." I don't know about their service with books that are actually in stock everywhere, but since their customer service is the worst I've ever seen, I recommend against wasting your time and money shopping here online.

They will list as 'in-stock' online and then once your order is confirmed, you'll get an email that the item is either out of stock suddenly or 'backordered'. I've lost track of how long I've been waiting. Also sent me 2 copies of the same book and and a copy of a book I never ordered BUT they had put a sticker that had the SKU of another book attached. Made the mistake of contacting customer support and they literally said that my order was 'a mess' and they 'don't know what the warehouse was trying to send'. Said they'd figure it out and get back to me. Took them about 3 weeks to get back to me and ask what I had already gone over with them again. I'll never buy from them again. This is exhausting.

I was getting super worried I was being scammed with all the reviews, but that was not the case. I preordered something and so of course it was taking a really long time to get shipped out. When I started getting worried was when I got an email asking how I liked my purchased product when... I hadn't received it yet. That's when I started researching and found that so many have been scammed. I wrote it off as a loss, however, I ended up getting notified of its shipment and then it cane to my house the other day. It was in very good shape. 4 stars for the bad communications set up but other than that, it worked out nicely for me.

Ordered 5 manga books and 2 were damaged. One was bent really bad and would not lay flat and the other had about 8 pages that were folded in on the bottom corner.

All packages destroyed and had a huge 200 dollar order. Place is garbage and will never order again. Takes forever to ship also.

i ordered three books about a month and i half ago and paid for express shippingfor 2-3 days after a couple weeks i have heard nothing from them so i yried to cancle so i could just order on amazon but it wouldnt let me and everytime i try to contact them i get no response. still havnt gotten my books
