Well curated. I appreciate the unique selection of snacks with each box and that they are not the typical mass market stuff that are easily found on the shelves of Donki, Family Marts or Lawsons.

I bought a subscription for my daughter. She lived in Japan for a few years and loved Japanese snacks. She got the first box and loved every snack in the box. She said it brought back memories of her time spent in Japan. The price of the subscription was not expensive and it definitely live up to expectations!

Cons: Delivery took over a month, this maybe due to the pandemic. I also has to pay import tax, so no monthly subscription for me. Pros: worth the wait! All snack are really good! The quality of the package and the attention to detail is impressive. I will be making more orders (just not monthly)

This was a gift for my granddaughter who is studying Japanese (Level 3) who raves about her birthday gift to everyone she knows. I believe her parents had a few snacks too! She spent time looking through the enclosed booklet to learn more about the makers and where they resided. Best $$ Grandma has spent this year.

I've tried various snackbox subscriptions before, and half the time it was all Lay's or Nestle products and while the flavors were different from what's sold here, it didn't feel authentic. BOKKSU, on the other hand, is exactly what I was looking for! It's real, authentic treats from Japan, packaged beautifully, and I feel like it's a gift I've given myself. I've gotten 3 boxes so far, and they've been a really good balance between monthly themes (like sakura) and variety in flavors (sweet and umami).

This box is such a joy to receive. The selection is good, and the quality is excellent. Plus it's beautifully packaged. The price is a little high, but this is shipping straight from Japan, so it doesn't get more authentic than that!

Liebevoll und professionell gemacht, gute Dokumentation der Produkte und Herstellung etc. Die Snacks sind alle sehr gut, abwechslungsreich und Dinge, die man hier auch in einem top Japan Laden nicht bekommt. Ein tolles Geschenk für Japanophile!

The best gift you could give anyone. The subscription gift pack is full of surprises month after month and is certainly way better than a one-time gift experience. The contents of the box are almost always 9/10 or 10/10 in their quality and variety. Apart from tasting great, it gives a great context of the culture of Japan, which is much more valuable now in a lockdown situation. We could get a feeling we're in Japan even when we're far away. The delivery is superbly fast. I was expecting a delay due to the worldwide lockdown situation but it reached my partner (in another country) within a week! There wasn't any issue at all so I don't need to contact the support. Overall it was a superbly easy gift to anyone who loves Japan and highly recommended as a gift to anyone.
