I was terrified for my appointment as I’d seen so many bad reviews- however if you have the right paperwork and manage to book an appointment everything will go just fine! Yes the experience isn’t fantastic, the centre is extremely busy and the staff aren’t the friendliest- but this is completely understandable in my opinion as the people they were dealing with had been raising their voice and being very rude. I DO NOT recommend walking in without an appointment even if you want to ask them questions about how to apply as there are long queues and they will tell you to go online to find the information. My only advice would be booking your holiday and visa well in advance to ensure you’re able to get an appointment at the centre. It took me 15 minutes to process my visa once there and everyone was polite to myself. Received my visa 15 days later. I used the bls website for all my paperwork as well schengenvisainfo which is helpful as well if you want more information! :)

Cant book an ppointment. Shows fully booked months ago

Hi Guys, This review is to help people who need booking urgently, as I had experienced the same issue after I booked and paid for non-refundable tickets for airline and hotel :/ - the biggest silly mistake one can do. I had the same issue as others were having, which is can't find the appointment dates. I have logged in during the daytime, nighttime, every day, and for many days. I couldn't find a booking date available at all. I was in the same stress level as others currently going through. Fortunately, there is a mobile biometric service provided by BLS. So I decided to give it a try, which cost £175, however, if you go with the normal route, then it will cost you only £68. Step 1: I have filled out the mobile biometric form. Step: 2 They will contact you the next day via email, stating mobile biometric will cost £398 # Breakdown - Mandatory charges( Mobile Biometrics fee, BLS, and Visa Fee £283.05 - Admin, transportation, and Processing charges £115 - Total Payable amount £398.05 Step 3: I paid £398.05 and they called the next day to let me know when they can come. It was for 7 day later appointment. Step 4: They came to my house and went through all the documents, verification, and biometric scan. They took the application. Step 5: The application arrived 2 days later at the embassy and I got the application registration number via SMS. Step 6: My Visa arrived in 20 working days (28 calendar days). I still have a couple of weeks left before my departure date. I'm extremely happy with BLV's fast and reliable mobile biometric service. I would have given it 5 stars, but because I was surprised at £398.05 price which was not mentioned on their website and I was a bit shocked by such a high hidden price. Nevertheless, I'm still happy, as I had a non-refundable booking. Btw guys, it is not only Spain visa appointment that is fully booked, if you try any European countries, their appointments are fully booked too. If you made mistake like me by getting non-refundable tickets, then go for a mobile biometric.

No available appointments slots for nearly two months, The website is down everytime they add a slot. Appointements are sold by BLS staff on the black market.

I hope the spanish embassy are aware of the poor customer service of this bls. No appointment schedule. Its impossible. Totally acceptable. Changed all the people whos managing these

Just on a serious note whats the point of making all these bookings paying the airfare trying to meet all the requirments etc,wasting money after been notified that there are no appointments available. Good way of scamming people.

Lost £950 flights hotel and insurance because its impossible to get a visa appointment with BLS Manchester or London. These criminals should be held accountable. Why do you have to pay for your holiday, flight and insurance months in advance only to find out you can not get and appointment. Thousands of families losing their hard earned money. Everyone affected should notify their MP and bring a collective Class Action Lawsuit against BLS. Updated.... As a last resort we decided to go to the BLS office Manchester and managed to get my application sorted there and then and have to say the staff are probably the most dedicated and helpful people you can imagine. They are snowed under with applications but they will go out of their way to help you. Would have given 5 stars but the BLS website is misleading.

BLS manages Spanish visas in Senegal. The website does not work properly and it is almost impossible to get an appointment. They do not answer emails, they tell you that they only give information in person, not by phone. Once there, they tell you that if you pay you can get an appointment that should be for free. When the visit of a 9-year-old boy to hir father cannot be carried out due to irresponsible and rude people, it is very sad.
